why_me_why_not | (no subject)

why_me_why_not is a complete slacker. Well, not really, but I feel that way. This week has been so crazy at work but at least we are finally, finally caught up.

And I feel so special! The gossip queens at work have nothing better to do than talk about me!! And I find it doubly amusing that, even though everyone knows I don't care, other people feel the need to come back and tell me what's being said. Apparently I'm in love with one of the guys at work -- which is news to me, especially since he's nowhere close to being my type -- and I got a kick out of telling him so after I heard the rumor. *g* Like I said, it was news to me, so I didn't want him to be surprised when he heard it. And apparently the head of the gossip queens doesn't like me b/c I shake my ass when I walk? I have no clue why she was looking at my ass anyway, or how that affects my likeability. And if I do shake my ass, it's not intentional. Unless I'm subconciously dancing to the music in my head. Oh, and did you know that I'm not really bipolar. I say that I am & take my meds every morning b/c I want attention. B/c, you know, someone who is really bipolar wouldn't be so flippant about being crazy. *g*

anael is going to make sure I finish my

atomic_fiction tonight, and she's gonna beta it for me, b/c she loves me.

puterpatty is really getting into the Back to Middle Earth Meme, so check out her LJ. I totally wanted to participate in that, and

alliwantisanelf encouraged me (and yes, al, I did watch all three movies last weekend *g*), but I didn't. Obviously. I'm not cool & can't do screencaps or anything like that. But I still may make a rambly post about my history with Middle Earth & why I love it. And I'll finally post the HP/LotR crossover I've owed

irisgirl12000 since December.

Am not going near OWL this weekend. Besides the

atomic_fiction fic and the HP/LotR crossover, I'm almost happy with the next chapter of Garden, which like three of you are reading. And I know how the next chapter is going to go, too.

P.S. -- I'm having nightmares about the leopard seal...
