somigliana has written the most heartbreakingly lovely thing ever in response to a dare! My prompt to her was: I dare you to write a drabble or short ficlet featuring any pairing except Hermione/Severus. During the story, there is a terrible misunderstanding, someone ends up eloping, and someone else is upset over it. (and yes, I believe you can make that short, but I wouldn't protest if it was longer than a drabble! *g*) So she gave me almost 2500 words centered on one of my secretly favorite pairings!.
