(no subject)

It always makes me feel good when people tell me that my kids are good/well-behaved/polite/weird-but-in-an-awesome-way. Apparently I'm not fucking up this mom thing too badly, lol.

I'm slowly figuring out how to work my new phone, haha. I'm excited to have a connection to the world again! Plus, now I have email, so I can really torture irisgirl12000, shutyourface, and reallythateasy during the day. :)

I kinda really like You're Not In On The Joke off Hot Mess. That's the only song I've listened to, lol. But it's on my ipod, so I'm gonna listen to it at lunch time today. Even though apparently it's the censored version of the album? No fun.

irisgirl12000 is away for the weekend and not around to correct the mistakes in my attempts at fic writing. Boo for that. But I do have fic-type things to post later. Of course, I don't get off work until 8:00 tonight, so later is actually like late tonight.

I have at least a dozen tabs open on my screen right now of LJ posts I wanted to comment on, and far far too many emails in my inbox to respond to/answer comments for. I'm gonna try to knock some of those out before I go to work. I was seriously considering going in early today, but this morning I'm really not feeling it. How bad is it that it's my third week at this place, and it's really a pie job, and I already dislike it?
