I use Windows Movie Maker for fanvids. It's a decent program, easy to use. Problem is it crashes CONSTANTLY...so unless you save after every single change, you're probably screwed.
And I use a combonation of programs for icons and graphics because I haven't figured out all of PaintShop Pro yet. But I use it for most of the work now. There are a million tutorials on it though.
