THINGS!

1. M said he loves me. I laughed, told him he's full of shit, and hung up on him. That was totally the appropriate reaction, right? (Okay, I probably started it. On the mornings that mom takes the kids to school, they always say "bye mom, have a good day" and I say "bye baby, I love you" so one morning last week when M was leaving for work - and it was just after 5am, so I was pretty much still mostly asleep - M said something like "bye, babe, I'll call you at lunch" and my exact words were "bye baby, I love you... no wait, no I don't love you... oh, just come here and kiss me then leave!")

2. Does the pee pee dance really work? I'm just curious. Why do we do that? Dancing around is gonna keep up from peeing our pants?

3. The Daytona 500 was EPIC. This whole weekend was full of crazy at the track; it's gonna be an interesting season. I can't wait for Martinsville. I've already got tix for Martinsville and Charlotte; I think we're gonna do Richmond too. I wanna do Texas, but only because it means I can have the bonus of seeing [livejournal.com profile] wendy, lol. Also, I'm not exactly loyal to one team or even brand of car. My brothers make fun of me because "my guys" are all spread out. I just like who I like, okay?

4. My mom made me katydid cookies tonight, and they were awesome. YUMMMMMMMM!

5. I helped my dad out on a job today, which I probably shouldn't have done since I was in bed all weekend with a killer migraine anyway and was still kinda feeling that, plus I'm not used to actual physical labor anymore. But he wasn't feeling well either (not enough alcohol in his blood) and I didn't think it would be bad. And physically it wasn't bad. I'm probably gonna be laying on the heating pad tonight in order to sleep, but that was expected. However, some of the stuff we were cleaning up was old insulation and particle board, and it is killing my lungs even now. Blurgh.

6. Davey was recommended for a special program at karate that is some type of leadership thing. I didn't get all the details (Miss Amanda said she'd talk to me about it tomorrow) but it involves mentoring some of the other kids and could possibly lead to being an instructor. (He's TEN, he's not ready to teach anything! But apparently he is? idk.)

7. My niece had her baby on Saturday. I'm so excited about getting to see her this weekend! YAY BABIES!
