(no subject)

My dad just called me to tell me that he's a great granddaddy. I thought he was talking about Bethany (who was induced last night and I'm waiting on the call that Kaydence is HERE) but he wasn't. My dad's older daughter, Tonya, has a daughter named Tabitha (which is funny, because we just met Tonya a few years ago, and her daughter has my name) who had a baby this morning. Which, I've never met Tabitha because she doesn't talk to her mom, but we are friends on facebook because I'm fb friends with my nephew Matthew, but yay babies! But at the same time, I had to get off the phone because it was going to start an argument because I pointed out that my dad is already a great granddaddy because Bethany has a 2yo. He said it's not the same as blood. Asshole, you have never even MET Tabitha, even if she is your granddaughter, but you were with Christine (Bethany's grandma) for more than 10 years and have been Bethany's pawpaw since the day she was born. I think that makes Caleb and Kaydence more your great grandbabies than this other one. Grrr.

Also, my brother's ex-wife is pregnant. It's causing drama. But that's a story for another night.

Tonight we're going to dinner for M's mom's bday. Her birthday is actually tomorrow but tomorrow is the Daytona race, so that's kinda important, lol. I was trying to watch the Nationwide race but the kids wouldn't cooperate, so I'm gonna end up refreshing NASCAR.com to see what's happening. Totally not the same. But the green flag isn't for another twenty minutes or so, so maybe I can steal the tv before then. :)
