Serious laugh - I can't even remember how this came about (I'm sure it was funny at the time, though, since it involved Pi), but I have used it on occasion when there is something so ridiculous that you can't even believe it's true.

to do list This is the icon for when I actually have no obligations and get to stay at home and hang out with my laptop and do what I want. That doesn't happen very often, but it's oh so nice when it does.


Impala home Yall remember the end of first season, right? That summer my whole mantra was "not the Metallicar", lol, and I was so ready for the new season to come along and say that was all a vision. I'm pretty sure I wrote fic for it. I love the Impala and new that the boys would be back but wasn't sure about the car. Also, I figured it out a long time ago that the Impala was the boys' home. She is totally my favorite Winchester and I love how appropriate this icon turned out to be.

so, for dinner tonight I made country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes (with gravy!), and garlic toast. With gravy, lol. It was pretty awesome. AND! There are no leftovers, which is even more awesome. :)

1. The Used: Um, I love The Used? I don't know what it is about that band of dirty boys, but I love them. I have seen them five times since last October, and I would see them again in a heartbeat. Their videos on kyte and youtube crack me up. Jepha is the sweetest thing ever, Bert is tiny and adorkable, Dan is DAN, and Quinn Allman gets me all flustered. His smile is a thing of wonder and never fails to make me happy. also, I love the bit of fandom that revolves around The Used. I have met such awesome awesome people there, and the fic is fantastic. (also also, what I was planning on writing for BBB was TU hsau fic. I think I've decided to go with something else instead though.)

2. Bobert: Oh, Bob Bryar. *hearts* I usually call him "Stevie's Bob" (which is kind of an inside joke btwn me and snarkyrainbow). Although I totally love Frank, Bob is my second favorite. Or sometimes my first favorite, yall know how I do. I'm super sad that Bob is no longer part of MCR, and I never knew MCR prior to Bob, so this whole thing is sad making. Mainly, I'm worried about Bob because he's been through a lot (with the surgery and the Dixie thing and everything else) and I want him to be happy and taken care of. I'm contenting myself making up stories about either him going to do sound for Patrick Stump's Solo Project or him staying with Brian Schechter and all those tweets about Brian's wife are just code for Bob.

3. Kids: I love kids too, most of the time. I have my two boys, who are awesome when they're behaving and a pain in my ass when they're not. I also have a ton of nieces and nephews, and my family is really big and really close, so we're together a lot. We also regularly pick up other kids, lol. Kids can be a source of some of the funniest shit you've ever heard, and also some of the funniest shit you've ever seen.

4. Bandom: I got into bandom on accident. wordsindreams asked me to write her Pete/Patrick once (which you can actually find here), and then I kinda wandered into bandom without knowing who anyone was. Then Alli got out of bandom but I was already sucked in, and I was squeeing about it to irisgirl12000. Then Gerard and Lyndsey got married, and I had a fic idea that I told irisgirl12000 I wasn't going to write, and she responded with "That's cool, but if you were going to write it, this is what would happen next." Thus, The Epic Love Story of Brendon and Frank was born. I have met some awesome people through bandom, and I've had some epic adventures traveling to see bandomish bands. I'm kinda sad that bandom (or my corner of it) is drifting into other things, but maybe that'll change if Brendon and Spencer ever get their shit together and give us more music. I know, I know, Brendon's gotta wait until the school term is over, but still. They could give us something, lol.

5. Winchesters: Sam and Dean. :) Oh, and the Impala, she is totally my favorite. I am totally a Dean girl, always have been. I don't like the show as much now as I did back in the first couple seasons, but I still consider myself to be a fan and I watch it. I still don't know how I feel about this sixth season nonsense. I mean, we had always planned on five seasons, right? I already miss the monsters of the week episodes; I personally enjoyed them more than the apocalypse arc. I don't write Winchesters much anymore, other than drabbles for wendy and sometimes nasus221, mainly because I used to write a lot with wearethestars, who is the Dean to my Sam and who is absent from the internet now, but I do have this epic crossover fic I'd love to write. There are bits and pieces of it in several places, and it's probably something I'm gonna end up just spamming people with in email.
