A few days ago, I made this post, and it's a circular type of meme thing, lol. And now [livejournal.com profile] irisgirl12000 has given me me more words. :)

Remus/Sirius: PUPPIES! One of my few OTPs. I'm pretty sure I love this pairing almost as much, if not MORE, than I love H/D. I prefer Marauder-era to post-Azkaban, but I'll take either. My favorite R/S of all time is, obviously, Shoebox Project, but there are quite a few others that I've read (and written!) that I absolutely love.

Jepha: Jepharee Howard, sexy little bassist. That man is totally SEX on stage, and I could watch videos of him all day long. At the same time, he is so adorably dorktastic, that I can't help but love him immensely. *happy sighs* I feel a little weird about reading fic about Jepha after meeting him, but I'm getting over it, lol.

Winchesters (I know you got this one, but I can't help it, it's THERE in connection with you): haha, WINCHESTERS! Sam and Dean. And John, obvsly, who I love but at the same time wonder if he did the right thing. I mean, I know he did what he thought was right, and there's never been any doubt that he loves his boys and that he loves Mary, but at the same time... idk. Parenting is a hard job, it's unfair to judge someone else's perception of it.

text message: I LOVE MY PHONE. I love text messages, and feeling connected to yall. Some of my favorite stories have been send and/or rcvd via txt msgs. I sometimes worry about texting people, because I don't want to bother anyone or force them to pay attention to me, which is why a select few of you end up bearing the brunt of my text messages. But if you give me an okay, I will totally text you random shit at random times, lol.

baseball: I love baseball. We grew up playing neighborhood baseball all the time, plus going to games at our local minor league team. Some of my best memories are at the old field. When we first got the new field, I didn't like it, but now that I have the kids, I like it more. I'm not too fond of the new management, so we didn't go to too many games last summer, but I'm hoping this season will be better. Also, baseball movies are totally my weakness; I can't pass them up when they're on. Sandlot, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, The Rookie, Rookie of the Year, Little Big League, Angels in the Outfield, Major League, etc...

um, I'm trying? I mean, I have a couple comfort fics that are TU that I reread on a regular basis, and I never gave up on those. Writing is a different story, but I did have a whole Bob/Jepha thing going on in my head yesterday?

It'll pass. Ohhh, maybe we need an epic The Used picspam/video share/comment porn weekend...

JOHN.

♥_____♥

I really love John Winchester because he's so flawed. He loved the fuck out of his family and he fought so hard to keep everyone safe. Did he make mistakes? Hell yeah. But when you think about his back story and how he was thrust into this universe that he had NO IDEA even existed...I'd say he did as well as he could.

He did do the best he could, and after he learned that there was so much out there that he didn't understand, so much EVIL, he did his best to make sure his boys knew how to protect themselves. He was a good man, but yeah, he made his share of mistakes. I don't like it when people try to make him into some kind of saint (including Dean!). But I do love him. :)

Definitely not a saint. Mostly, I see people HATING on him like whoa. It makes me want to karate chop them.

yeah, he doesn't deserve the hate either. idk, maybe it's the fannish mentality that people take things to extremes?

oh, goodness, we totally are.

Do you follow [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge? this is only related in the sense that it's about fandom, but he posted something earlier today (http://copperbadge.livejournal.com/2981859.html) about the history of fandom, specifically Dr Who fandom, and one of the comments on there, that I totally agree with, was I am completely convinced that there is a "fandom gene." The same behavior always crops up, no matter what the fandom, no matter when, even in a vacuum where the fan never heard of fannish culture.

I'm gonna bookmark that link, thanks!

FAN CULTURE. Like...either you get it, or you don't. But even when you're in it, there are people (in every damn fandom) who push things too far. Oy vey.
