always been crazy

Okay, yall, I need help. Dierks Bentley has a song called Sideways, and he redid it specially for NASCAR this season, and I desperately want a copy of the NASCAR version of sideways for my very own, to put on a mix cd or whatever. But I am computarded (and also keep forgetting to pay for my lj and icons, so can't use the actual computarded icon) and don't know how to rip it. Can someone help me?

Seriously, if someone can get me a copy of this song? I will owe you SO BIG.

This is one of the CDs I found in the stack I took with me on my road trip to Norfolk. I'm not even sure what all the songs are on here. The CD says "10-21" but it doesn't have a year - I'm think it was 2008 though.

How strange is it that I was going to tweet something this afternoon about how I needed new KANE music in my life (but got distracted) and now I HAVE NEW KANE MUSIC?? Thanks, exsequar, for the heads up!

I think I need to make a mommy filter. Or, more accurately, an auntie filter, I guess, b/c I was gonna make a post about how breastfeeding is currently a topic of debate in our household and I don't think all of you want to be on that type of filter. Relatedly, I've been having nightmares about Harley lately. Which is understandable, because she's the baby and she's having a baby. Add to that the fact my mom is super paranoid and it's rubbing off on me, but it IS true that Harley's daddy had three other biological kids and they all died at the age of 17 in a motor vehicle accident. Also, babies still freak me out, especially baby girls, so I foresee a LOT of nightmares in my immediate future. (Quick explanation - my first child was a little girl, and when she was 8 weeks old, we moved into a trailer that had a faulty furnace and the first night we stayed there, we all go carbon monoxide poisoning and she died)

I was going to post this last night with pictures of my kids, but obviously I failed at that. Will post pics of the boys tonight. :)

I uploaded all the pictures from my phone/the camera and picked out which ones I want to upload/share to facebook/lj, but I'm too lazy to actually do that tonight b/c it requires tagging them and stuff and I'm sleep and sore. Tomorrow, though!

Also, I love Travis Clark. His last tweet said "Alright, I'm gonna start a YouTube account and cover any songs that you guys want to hear on acoustic guitar...start requesting :)" and it made me think of seeing them on the TRRRGL tour, and after the show he was sitting outside the venue with his guitar playing whatever people wanted to hear. Their music isn't anything fabulous, but I really do love the boys in WTK, and they will forever be one of my favorites. Also, in my mind, they will always be reallythateasy's boys.

I NEED HELP FROM YALL!! acidquill and I have been talking, and I need to know what yall think Sam Winchester has on his ipod. I mean, there are obviously some of the classic rock influences from Dean, but my personal canon is that there is some WWS and possibly some Kane on there (I think there was one fic centered around Sam being a fan of Chris Kane and them having to work a job that involved Chris? In the tradition of myself and irisgirl12000, I believe it was something written via txt and never actually finished/shared, but the 'verse still exists in my head.). But we were debating what he's got on there. It's kinda hard, b/c there are things that I could think of as Sam music, but then I have to remember what was actually available to him when he was at Stanford, b/c I think that as a hunter he doesn't have much time or energy to keep up with the music scene. And she and I both believe there are songs on there that are Jess songs - ones that she put on there or ones that were her favorites or just ones that remind him of her. So, guys, help me out. WHAT'S ON SAM WINCHESTER'S IPOD?

YAY FOR VTO! It was seriously ridiculously slow today at work. I took TWO CALLS in the FOUR HOURS I was there this morning. Booooo!!!! I would much much rather be slammed busy than slow. Especially since we can't have books on the floor. I can have my notebook though, lol. And I had my phone under my desk b/c I'm a rulebreaker like that, haha.

I was talking to Sara about music, and I need to make her two CDs, one of The Used and one of Cobra Starship. So, dear flist, I need your help. Which songs should I include? What are YOUR favorites of TU and Cobra? Tell me tell me! I would do a poll but I'm going to be productive this afternoon and clean out the back room upstairs.

Also, I'm on a WWS kick. Fell asleep listening to Comfortable Denial, woke up to Another Cold and Rainy Day (which was sooooo fitting this morning), and listened to them all morning. (okay, so maybe I was also being a rule breaker and wearing my ipod earbuds under my headset. um, oops?) But I really really really love them and I'm so sad they aren't a band anymore. And I told snarkyrainbow that I'd upload the albums for her, but I figured I would share with everyone so as not to be selfish. :)

Oh, William Beckett. *hearts* (okay, for those of yall that know me, it's more like OH SISKY AND BUTCHER! but whatever *g*) Apparently I haven't been listening to them for a while, b/c it was like Christmas when I lost all my music, right? And I'm just now realizing that I'm missing something?
