The Hobbit is split into two movies, yes! First one comes out Dec 2012.

I recced several original fics. Do you remember what it was about? I'm pretty sure fictionpress is both Real Vampires Don't Sparkle and the one where the high school kid falls in love with his teacher who turns out to be an alien...

When I lived with Melanie, she had this awesome skylight in her bedroom, and me and her and the kids (who were all quite a bit smaller then, obviously) would lay on the bed and watch thunderstorms through the skylight because it was the greatest thing ever.

I have yet to get ANY tattoos because of the whole issue I have with people actually *touching* me.

I find tattoos are a lot easier to deal with than anything else that involves people touching you (like haircuts and doctors and fucking massages ugh ugh ugh) because you can concentrate almost immediately on the pain rather than on the proximity of another person. It really is very pleasant just as a weird sensation even without the beautiful art at the end of it.

Bad: Sometimes I have no idea what you're talking about when you go off on some unfamiliar fandom. Dude, sometimes even I don't have know what I'm talking about. *g* But I'm totally a fandom whore and there are at least a dozen fandoms that get mentioned regularly on my LJ, so yeah, you're not the only one who feels that way. :)

Are you in love/have a crush at the moment: Jonathan and I are very happy Awww. :) I love the idea of other people being in happy relationships. Totally not my thing, but I'm glad it works out for my friends.

Snow isn't a time of year, silly. Or, I guess it can be, it's just not confined to one season. Hmm. I'm not a big fan of snow. I like maybe one good snow a year, enough to close everything down and make snowforts and take the kids sledding, but then it can go away. :)
