why_me_why_notKnow what today is? Today is the official day of the Great American Backyard Campout! I think the kids are gonna go over to Pam & Jay's and campout with their cousins. It's a trial run for when Pam & Jay take all of them camping at Jellystone later this month.

1. Werewolves (because apparently I do have two friends that also love werewolves, and apparently you both decided to comment)
Haha. I've had werewolves on the brain lately! I'm kinda intrigued by how vastly different the myths are surrounding werewolves. Right now, "werewolves" makes me think about Billy and Georgia and their clan, b/c they're totally one of my favorite parts of the Dresden 'verse.
2. Bandom
Bandom is simultaneously the best and worst thing that ever happened to me. The blame goes towordsindreams, which is kinda funny since she only briefly detoured through bandom on her fandom journey and now rolls her eyes at me whenever it comes up. The best thing about bandom is that casualyobsessed and I have kinda bonded over it. Yay for bratty little sisters! It reminds me a lot of HP in the way that there are so many people involved in this fandom, and there is such a wide range of...ficability? idk. I have a lot of fun in bandom, esp interacting with other people.
3. Randomness
I come up with the most illogical, random things to say sometimes, sorry. (sidenote: a lot of times this happens during the day and I text it to someone, but I'm always worried about textinggelsey b/c I don't wanna interrupt her sleep.)
4. Books
I love books. I love words. I have a ridiculous number of books, and I have read my favorites enough times that I could probably recite whole parts of them. And I hate to give them up b/c some of them are like old friends. Unfortunately, most of my books are in storage. :( And I have somehow managed to still collect two new boxes of books in the last six month, lol. They're totally my weakness.
5. School
I am so glad to be done with school, b/c hopefully that means I can find myself a Real Job (I actually go for my certification test two weeks from today, EEEP!), but at the same time, I like learning and I wouldn't say no to the opportunity to be a career student. Like with working, my biggest problem with school is other people. Why the hell are you going to pay to take a class and then half-ass it and complain when you fail?
