I'm trying to upload new pics to myspace but it's being a bitch & won't cooperate. I hate myspace. I wouldn't go on there if my cousins & such weren't on there. I'll share a couple pics with yall in a few though.

Those things being said, maybe this is a good time to do some reminder-pimpage about archives? I know a lot of LJ-ers don't post their stuff on archives as well, but some do. And I could rattle off a list of HP-centric archives (as I'm sure most of my hp-flisters could) even though I only use OWL. But there are archives for other fandoms as well!

CAT is on the same site as OWL, but it's a multifandom archive. No rps, but any fictional fandoms are a go. There is some SPN, but it's mostly mine and it's probably lonely. Also, Criminal Minds & Jericho. I wish there was The Dresden Files on there b/c I can't find any!

I also know of two SPN-related archives.

Just Like the Rifle is a het-only SPN archive (I'm writing Sam/Jess for

fluffandfold, go figure, but I know I'm not the only het!fan on my flist).

Sinful Desire is the place to go for J2 & Wincest.

Archives make it easy to find fic that you want to read all in one place. They are definitely a good thing! (plus, the Tauri archives have spoiled me and I love being able to fine well-written fic all in one place)

I'm gonna go back to fussing with myspace. *sigh* Oh yeah, and our washer stopped working all together today. On top of everything this week? Just another day in paradise...

Myspace! My mother's trying very hard to convert me to facebook.

It's been raining for most of the past two weeks, and my dryer just died on me. Not fun AT ALL. I am drying my shirts in the kitchen.

yeah, I have a myspace but that's more than enough for me. I don't do that much on it, but occasionally (like now) my brothers or one of my cousins or whatever will tell me I need to put new pics up. Blah.

I wish it would rain for two weeks here. We're so so dry, it's not funny. And my baby brother is a firefighter, so he's been out fighting forest fires all fall and worrying me.

Ohh, not fun about your dryer! That sucks! yeah, our washer has slowly been dying for a while now, but chose yesterday to finally give up. In the middle of a load. So mom had to take several baskets of clothes over to my brother's house to wash. Earlier this week our kitchen sink (where we've been having a problem for weeks b/c it needs a new faucet & it's tricky to get the water to run) had a pipe bust under it. Lots of fun around here. :P

How are you other than having to dry shirts in the kitchen?

I am ridiculously bad at being photographed (seriously, Bob Bryar levels of uncomfortable), so I haven't put any photos on myspace in forever.

Oh, that's horrid about the forest fires. A few years ago, there were a lot over the Christmas period just out of Sydney, and my dad freaked out because his cousin lived near there at the time.

Oh man, my dryer is EVIL. Diabolical, even. I ran out of shirts, knickers and clean socks, because I have evidently turned into a gigantic slob since school finished. And nothing's really drying in the kitchen, so I'm thinking the laundromat might be the way to go.

Other than drying shirts in the kitchen, I've been pretty good! I did this early Christmas thing earlier this afternoon with my mum's family, because we're all dispersing across the country this Christmas, and it was really nice seeing everyone in the one place again. Oh, and last night I was in the Blue Mountains for my friend's 18th birthday, which I will post about when I don't feel like my face is about to kill me on purpose. How about you?

I hate cameras. I can usually manage to stay behind them. Most of the pics on my myspace are of the kids, plus some of my brothers & stuff.

We live with mom b/c I had a breakdown about a year and a half ago & I've been here since. But mom has a stackable, apartment-sized washer & dryer which *sucks* anyways. I have a full size washer & dryer in storage but we've nowhere to put it here. Laundromat is no fun. Except sometimes you meet interesting people. I hate people, but I like to people-watch sometimes.

fluffandfold but I'm goofing off instead. Good thing to do on a Sunday afternoon.
