Davey's still in his "I wanna be a chef" phase, and tonight he decided he wanted to make cinnamon rolls. The recipe (from his Paula Deen's My First Cookbook) was basically take refrigerated crescent rolls and put a marshmallow and cinnamon/sugar on it before you roll it up and bake it. They are ridiculously awesome, yum!

It's ridiculously HUMID here, and it's been storming for most of the afternoon and it hasn't helped. Ugh.

Um, what else...

The boys both have their last soccer games on Thursday night, and my nephew Joe has his last tball game tomorrow. Friday is the last day of school for the kids here. That afternoon, Center in the Square is free, so Kristina & I are gonna take all the kids down to the science museum and the history museum. Then me, my boys, Harley, Jamie, Johnathan, and Melody are going camping for the weekend. I'm really really looking forward to it.

Yeah, my life is obviously full of excitement right now. :)

It's really humid here, too. It's also overcast. Everybody was yawning at work. But it was a very productive day all around.

I recall my first inclination to try and cook. I got out the old Betty Crocker cookbook and made bread from scratch. My mom could not believe it. I earned a spot as the family baker, since everything she made tased like cardboard. I still make the yeast goods and pies, and my little sister specializes in cakes.

It's still humid here even though it's been storming on and off for days. You'd think that'd cool it off, but it hasn't so far. yuck.

That's awesome. My mom can't cook unless it's from a box, lol. I got my dad's cooking skills, luckily, except I cannot make gravy. :P

I don't think I'll ever grow out of my "I want to be a chef" phase, even if I don't really. Though actually I really didn't give a darn about cooking at all when I was a kid.

Ooh, camping. I adore camping, hope you have fun!

lol. I've always loved to help in the kitchen. I think it's b/c when we were little my grandma used to always have us grandkids help her bake at Christmas time, and it grew from there.
