Work is kicking my ass. Seriously, I am the grumpiest ever and I hate everything when I'm there and yesterday I was ready to stab someone with my scissors, but Katherine took them away. I am already in a spectacularly bad mood today, and I haven't even managed to crawl out of bed yet!

Hmmm, R...

1. Ronnie. Duh. Even though he is so stubborn I can't handle it sometimes, lol, I love my brat.

2. Roanoke Valley. I talk about moving elsewhere (Texas!), but I love my valley, and I feel comfortable/safe/HOME when I can look around and see mountains in every direction.

3. Riverbank. Can it be summer time now, please?

4. Road trips! (There had best be a fangirl road trip to coincide with the panic tour. I'm just saying.)

5. Rain in the summertime. The sound of rain on the roof is one of the best lullabies ever.

The wall clock's battery died last night and I didn't realize it. I woke up, got out of bed, and seriously thought that it was already 9am, and ran around like a fool thinking I had to get to work immediately. Then I looked at my watch as I put it on. (It was 6:45.)

Sunday morning, I was dreaming about applying/interviewing for new jobs and overslept and was late to work. I think that's a sign.

Happy C Things:

1. Cats! I think I need a cuddle-able pet. I keep thinking about destressing in the form of hanging out on your couch with Dante, or curled up in a chair at Wendy's with one of the pups. I don't need to move to Texas; I just need a pet! :P Also, I miss Bagheera. :(

2. Concerts! I'm going to go see the baby band (Drive A) in a couple weeks with Cliff (Amy is lame and pregnant and goes to bed with the chickens and won't go), and hopefully those panic kids will get their shit together so we can see them later this year.

3. Cliff! He is a dorkface and he makes Amy happy and I'm glad they're my friends.

4. Correspondence. Not my stupid dept at work, but like snail mail cards and hand written letters and awesome stuff like that.

5. Collar!fic. Does that need an explanation?

sleeeeeep! What is that? I don't like to sleep much, but I feel like I haven't gotten ANY lately and it is soooo BOOOOOO!

S Happy Things:

1. Sweet Tea! Johnathan calls my tea sugar water, but I like it that way!

2. Singing! I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but I like to sing along with all my favorite songs. There are a lot of favorite songs, lol.

3.Sunbeams! Best place in the world for naps!

4. Skate parties! Four times a year, the PTA at the boys' school does a free skate party for all the kids, and it's always a fun time.

5. Seasons. I complain about the weather being too hot and humid in the summer and too cold in the winter, but I actually do like living in an area where we have four discernible seasons.

2. Weekends! *sigh* They are awesome but they are so far apart!

3. Wednesday Night Boys. I'm pretty sure that was the first actual bandom fic I read, before I even knew who anyone was, and it has a special place in my heart.

4. Whammies! Do you remember the game show Press Your Luck? Those little Whammies were always kinda adorable!

5. Weeping Willow trees. They are so pretty! Plus, we used to have one in our yard when I was little, so I associate them with happy memories.

Yay for not snowing! I'm so tired of that white stuff falling from the sky!

1. Davey. I gotta say that, since I said Ronnie for R, lol. But I do love my little Monkeyface, even when he's being a smartass and getting on my nerves.

2. Dessert. Should always be eaten first, because I'd rather run out of room for dinner than dessert.

3. Dresden. I love the Dresden Files books and I the world that Jim Butcher has created.

4. Draco Malfoy. What? I adore Draco, lol. In fandom, at least.

5. Driving. I actually love to drive, especially in the summer time on the backroads with the windows down and the radio up. It clears my head.

1. Listening to music! Seriously, I sometimes think that's all that keeps me from killing my coworkers, being able to block out the stupid by turning my music up louder.

2. Lake! Omg, summertime, where are you?? I think I'm gonna buy a camper at the marina where we spend most of the summer. I'm pretty excited.

4. Letters. Ok, so that's kinda cheating since I said correspondence for C, but I have to say I love writing letters. The Soldiers' Angels Letter Writing Team is one of my favorite activities, writing letters of rambling nonsense, lol. We won't tell anyone I got in the habit of writing letters when my daddy was in prison.

5. Laughter :)

Happy T Things:

1. Thursday 'verse! (I have an unhealthy amount of love for that entire thing)

2. Tumblr. I'm still not quite sure exactly what I'm supposed to do there, lol, but I find some awesome pictures there.

3. Trees. Whether climbing them or sitting in the shade underneath them or burning their former selves in a bonfire.

4. Texas. Some of my most favorite people are there, and I generally use that as my looking-forward-to reward.

5. Tiger lilies. They are possibly my favorite flower.

Tim is their manager. Next time you go to a Drive A show, make sure the boys introduce you to Tim. Just don't puke on the bus or he'll threaten to cut your hair with a switchblade. <3 He's the one who holds onto Bruno's belt when he's singing on the barrier and hauls him back over after he gets a mosh pit started.

1. Fandom! For a million different reasons.

2. Fridays! Even though right now my "weekend" is Thurs-Fri-Sat, Fridays are still the day to look forward to.

3. Fireflies. Well, we usually call them lightning bugs, but same thing. A field of twinkling blinkling flying creatures at twilight on a summer night. :)

4. Friends. Real, imaginary, or via the internet.

5. Fic. Obviously. I can name at least a dozen fics that I can go to for a pick-me-up, depending on the reason I need the pick-me-up.
