Pointless Post is Pointless. Except for the Pointed Teeth.

Okay, so even though I'm not a huge fan of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, I started watching True Blood. Mostly because of Askars. And it was kinda a trainwreck, so I kept watching. And even though Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) is hot, especially in pictures like this:



Jessica is totally hotter.



The first Twilight movie? The only decent thing about it was Ashley Greene looking hot as Alice Cullen.



And I'm watching the American version of Being Human (another trainwreck of a show), and I love Aidan (especially with those dimples or when he has that ridiculously confused look)



but Rebecca?



Apparently I like girl vampires?

Also, Thomas Raith is still my favorite vampire and I still don't understand why there aren't more crossovers with the Dresden 'verse. Or flat out Dresden Files fic.

But Jim Butcher did put the first chapter of Ghost Story up on his website earlier tonight: go check it out!

YES! H already mentioned a good jumping off point up there *points* but I would totally be okay with seeing how many different ideas we could come up with based on that picture. :)

(but on the subject of True Blood - I had a long weekend to myself because my mom took the kids to the beach and someone sent me the first three seasons so I kinda just watched all of it? It's so bad.)

Brad's lip is bleeding because he has finally pushed Ray to violence. Ever since Ray told Brad he was thinking about leaving the Corps, Brad has been acting like a paranoid asshole. Like leaving the Marines means Ray's leaving Brad. As if. Brad is stuck with him for life, and he's had enough of the petty jabs. Nothing Brad says is going to push him away, and if he has to kick Brad's ass on a daily basis to make that sink in, so be it.

My turn.

Brad's feeling pretty self-satisfied, even though he was forcibly ejected from the bar. It was just a shitty college town hole-in-the-wall anyway. It's not like he was planning on passing through here again.

He tastes blood on his lip and grins. The saying "but you should see the other guy" totally fits this situation. And Brad was doing a noble thing, defending a girl's honor from a drunken frat boy.

He catches sight of the girl, her steps a little unsteady as she and her friend, and decides it would negate his good deed if he didn't at least offer to see them home.

The pair turned around as he approached and his girl grinned.

"Fuck, man, that was badass! Plus you just won me fifty bucks! Our bet was only that I had to get a guy to buy me a drink, but that was so fucking better."

What the fuck? Brad wondered if maybe he had a head injury after all.
