The Friday Five for 25 June 2021
1) What's your favorite dish to bring to a summer cookout? We have a lot of cookouts. A majority of them are at my house, since it's the biggest, but if we're going elsewhere I usually bring mac'n'cheese, pasta salad, and/or deviled eggs. Sometimes seven layer dip or a fruit tray. Depends on which who is hosting and who will be there.
2) How much time have you spent outdoors this week? Um. I'm trying to avoid the heat and humidity. I took A & L to an activity at the library the other day so we spent about two hours outside then. I played with Cooper for a little bit in the backyard the other evening. But that's about it.
3) Where do you set your thermostat? 70*F
4) How did you learn to swim? I really don't remember. We were spending weekends at the river bank since before I can remember. When my boys were little, we basically just tossed them in the lake and they learned, lol, so I'm pretty sure that's how I learned as well.
5) How do you avoid overheating? Staying inside? lol. Wearing light sundresses, drinking lots of water.

1) What's your favorite dish to bring to a summer cookout? I don't go to summer cookouts LOL I guess I would bring a giant thing of cut watermelon cause I'd want to eat that
2) How much time have you spent outdoors this week? I walked and it was terrible. Would not recommend it.
3) Where do you set your thermostat? BF has a 72* rule but I'd put it at 65* if we had dumb money. I want to wear a sweater indoors
4) How did you learn to swim? We had a former professional diver in our apt complex???? Is that normal???
