HEY, GUESS WHAT?? I GOT A LAPTOP!

Got up this morning & called the weather hotline, which said our center was still open. So, took a shower, got dressed, dug the car out. Called one last time before I actually left the house, and it's a good thing I did b/c the center was closed. Texted everyone on my team to make sure they knew and were at home safe (two of them were already at work before for the closing was announced, but everyone made it back to their homes safely). So, since the car was already dug out and everything, and I was facing yet another snowed in weekend, we went to Walmart so I could get my laptop. This was my paycheck that had overtime on it, so I had extra, plus my state tax refund should be posted to my acct within the next couple days *crosses fingers*. Whatever, I have a laptop. And internet.

Now if only I could focus.

I said I was feeling better yesterday, but I think I may have lied? Also, I kinda think it's possible I'm leaning more towards pneumonia than cold. Hopefully I'm overreacting/being a hypochondriac. The coughing/wheezing/shortness-of-breath could all have been contributed to the cold, right? And my sinuses being blocked is definitely reason for me to be unable to focus. And headaches are typical for me. But it doesn't seem to actually be getting better, and it hurts to breathe (and not just like, achy chest pains, but my chest and my back *hurt* when I breathe). And, my favorite, I can't eat. I don't really have an appetite, but unfortunately that's also typical b/c of my meds, but I *want* to eat (I like food, okay, and cold days are made for comfort food, and I made this awesome chicken dish for dinner) and I *can't* b/c I can't breathe and eat at the same time. :( DNW!

Anywho. I also can't focus. I'm not sure what to attribute that to. But I'm gonna type up some fic (mainly for

shutyourface and

ashlein, but I'll be sure to share it) and finish the ending to this other fic (before

citikitti yells at me some more) and... idk, there was more on my list. Whatever. It's not like my lists ever get more than halfway done anyway, lol.

*hugs* I feel a lot better this morning, but I also having gotten out of bed yet, lol. I promise that if it keeps up, I'll go to the doctor. (Until the past couple years, I kept a croupy cough from October to April every year and am kinda used to coughing fits and hurty breathing? The dry heat has a lot to do with it, I think.)
