Have I told yall lately how much I love
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
We got sent home from work early. Again. I don't know why I bothered going in at all this week.
I should be working on fic (or more specifically, on typing up the drabbles I wrote last week and sending my slashfest fic to the beta) or betaing, but I'm not. Well, I'm getting ready to, actually, but first, recs.
Better Brothers by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
HP, Regulus & Sirius
PG-13
Summary: In every story, there is a beginning and an end. This, then, is the beginning of the end.
I loved this so much when I betad it. It's just... amazing, like most everything wook writes, and it's so beautiful and heartwarming & sad all at the same time.
The Adventures (or Lack Thereof) of Uncle Padfoot by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
HP, Remus/Sirius
Summary: Remus wants to update his blog. Wicked Uncle Padfoot wants to ravish his little Moony. Who will win? A gripping tale of almost unbearable suspense...
Rating: Not sure. Somewhere between PG-13 and R.
Era: Just after Hogwarts: Remus and Sirius are nineteen or twenty. (There are anachronisms. Poetic licence.)
AN: Tasteless on the face of it, but this is actually fluffy crack. With mention of Severus.

SPN. Sam/Dean. Adult.
There is something Sam needs that Dean simply cannot give. 1,015 words.
Coda to "What Is and What Should Never Be"
Funny and sweet and a tiny bit sad, perfectly blended the way only Ash can.

WB RPS, Jared/Jensen (Mike/Tom)
R, 2000 words
So, yeah, this whole – let’s break into Mikey’s place and steal the Cubans he bought last time he went to Mexico – thing? Definitely Jared’s idea.
Hilarious. I mean, c'mon. Drunken Jensen & Jared breaking into Mike's house? Who can resist?
Just Push Play
NSYNC AU where Lance runs an internet porn business for extra cash, and things are going well until he meets JC and can't seem to keep it strictly business.
I meant to link this for
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
And even though this has already been recced by a few other people, I have to add it here too, b/c just thinking about it makes me laugh:
... And A Treasure Chest Too by Kittie
Oh god, just... the NSYNC boys are FISH and... you just have to read it. Seriously, it's the cutest thing EVER.
I'm cleaning out some old files on my mom's computer and there are some fandom recs on here, so I figured I'd share. It's entirely possibly that I've recced these before, but oh well. Also, I'm not sure when these were accumulated, and some of them have summaries but others don't. Enjoy anyway!
SPN RECS
It's Got Bells On by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
Author Summary: Dean at 19 and Sam at 15 and pranks – including the infamous Nair Incident. The challenge for me was to figure out Dean's voice at 19. But hey, overthinking, and probably TMI. This is just a fun, nonsense fic.

Believe by
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
It's 4000 words of major angst and dark themes.
Request/Summary: Harry/Luna. Post war. Harry's miserable, drinking himself into oblivion type thing. Along comes Luna to sort him out. Doubt, insecurities, etc. Up to you whether she manages to sort him out or it all ends up rather postmodern and ambiguous.
Azar Darkstar's How to Tell the Truth from the Lies can be found on OWL/Tauri if you're a member there and on ff.net if you're not. It's a multi chaptered, AU, Harry is Salazar story, with a very interesting twist on canon and other commonly accepted HP truths. It's definitely worth a read, but there are dark/mature themes, violence, death, etc.
