How much do I love the Winchester brothers? Way way much.
Anywho, just some ramblings about my TV watching this week. Maybe I'll make a real update later.
Spoilers for the shows under the cuts. Don't say you weren't warned.
I can't believe there's only 2 episodes left before the fall finale! This is one of those shows that I get to the end of the hour and I'm like "No!!! I want more!"
Last night's show... I love Jake, like always, but I think he should've gone to Emily's dad for help. I mean, Eric did go to him in the end, and I know that there's bad blood between him and Jake, but still. That's their town too. And Emily's dad (I can't remember his name & I'm too lazy to look it up) and his boys would definitely be an asset to fighting Ravenwood.
Emily has daydreams that are way more cracked out dreams than I do! I'm not sure how I feel about her, but I so know I don't want her deciding to fall back in love with Jake. I want Jake and Heather to hook up. I know there's bound to be fanfic out there; I may have to go search out some schmoopy Jake/Heather fic. I didn't realize until last night's episode that Emily & Heather were actually best friends, which could definitely make things weird with the whole Jake situation.
Eric -- I'm not saying he was right to have an affair with Mary (wasn't Mary Bailey the wife from It's a Wonderful Life?) and to betray his wife, but April wanted out of that marriage too. Now she's changed her mind b/c she's pregnant (which Eric doesn't know yet, and it'll probably fuck things up even more when he finds out) but still... I'm kinda rooting for Eric & Mary.
I love the Aitu tribe, seriously. They are made of awesome, and it amuses me that they are the underdog and they still manage to win all the challenges. They have an awesome alliance. I'm always afraid of them having to go to tribal council b/c I know they're gonna have a hard time deciding who to vote off. Of course, they do have the immunity idol... And Ozzy is a straight-up jungle boy; I wanna call him Mowgli.
The Raro tribe... them having to vote two people off tonight (and not being able to strategize about the second vote) was kinda no fun. But I didn't like either of the two they got rid of so that's ok. Jonathan gets on my nerves; there's just something about him that I don't like. I'm not a big fan of Parvati either, but she is a strong competitor. I have a soft spot for Adam b/c he went to VT (notice the VT hat? *g*) even though that's a silly reason. And he and Candace are so cute. I like Nate also, but I sense he's getting way frustrated with his tribe and we'll see where that leads. I definitely look forward to next episode.
Now, for my favoritest hour of the week... Supernatural.
Okay, so I kinda rambled these down while I was watching the show, so if they don't make complete sense, that's why. Actually, some of the lines are just random interjections, but that's me.
You so know that Sam's jealous of Dean's infamy. Sam wants to be a wanted man! (okay, so we all know that Dean wants him, but that's beside the point) And Dean's probably kinda pissed that Mr Innocent has nothing on him, but it'll probably come in handy in the future.
The Impala!! I knew they would get it back, but I wanna know how. It was probably straightforward breaking into the police impound, but my imagination wants more. Like Dean having to con Sam into helping him retrieve the Impala... has someone written that already?
Dean not know what myspace is = priceless! "No seriously, what is it, some kind of porn site?"
Dean apparently likes to kick in doors; am I the only one who has noticed this? Also, Sam grabbing Dean's leg (b/c Dean's out of control) and the look on Sam's face (b/c he's irriated -- maybe they need to get some) amused me.
Dean being an asshole and Sammy being all sensitive -- like good cop, bad cop. Only more illegal. And without handcuffs, mores the pity.
It kinda felt like maybe Dean was projecting his anger (about Dad) on the guy who traded his soul for his wife to live
"Not allowed to say no, Sammy, unless you have a better idea"
Dean & Sam talking about Dad making a deal with the demon -- I just wanna hug them both. :(
What the hell is the deal with the demon's eyes? what's the difference in a red-eyed demon and a yellow-eyed demon?
Sam & his magic circles *g* And Sam getting scared and jumping inside the circle was kinda funny.
The demon bitch was playing on Dean's emotions and pissing me off. I'm talking to the TV "C'mon, Dean, don't do it!" and thinking that if he did do it, Dad would be so pissed, and Sam even more so.
"throw in a set of steak knives" Dean is such a smart ass. So much love for him, seriously. but he's so fucking smart! Manipulative, I guess. Dean likes to play games though, right? Manipulate things to his advantage? And OMG Dean speaking Latin = yummy! even if it was an exorcism ritual.
"Shut your mouth bitch!" OH DEAN! *loves*
When they're talking in the Impala after and Sam asks if Dean ever seriously thought about making the deal and Dean doesn't answer and then turns up the music (which means he totally did contemplate it), Sam looks all freaked out.
And now, they are officially The Guilt Brothers.
Ohhh, and the previews look so awesome!! Plus, the Jared vs Justin guitar showdown thingy? Jared so rocks. He's such a fucking goober, but he rocks.
Okay, off to catch up on a few emails & comments and do some editing on my slashfest. I'm on Y!M if anyone needs me...
