Miss me yet? I swear I'm going through withdrawals -- and the ten minutes of Y!M time I got with [livejournal.com profile] wendy yesterday only made my internet cravings worse. *g* But it's been a busy busy weekend, so I guess I can't complain too much. Unbeta'd drabbles; I am still working on other prompts as well. But my phone is still working, so that's a good thing, I guess. Um, since my internet time is limited, anyone who has really good fic recs from the past couple of days, can you link me? Also, any of you that I beta for or that want me to beta something, please go ahead and send it to me -- tabbycat6380@msn.com -- and I'll get it back to you the next day. Um, I think that's it. I miss you guys (and am worrying obsessively about a few of you since you're no longer just an IM away!). *love & hugs*

Wilde and Krystal -- both of you gave me prompts in Y!M and I wrote them down... and then I lost them. *g* Can you give them to me again? I remember kinda sorta what they were both supposed to be, but I wanna make sure I get them right.

I owe out two things in the LOST fandom, a snarky!Sawyer drabble for Krystal ([livejournal.com profile] ltlredhairdgirl) and a Sawyer/Charlie sex-in-the-rain ficlet that is gonna be dedicated to Jessi ([livejournal.com profile] quidditch_fan). However, I'm going to wait until after the season finale (which I believe is on May 24th) to write those. I just wanted to let you two know that I haven't forgotten.

[livejournal.com profile] lilian_cho gave me the prompts "autumn" and "kites" along with the request that they include Draco. I can't write anything for the autumn prompt because that immediately brought to mind de's Autumn Leaves, so I'll just rec that instead. However, I did write her a drabble for the "kites" prompt.

Draco had always thought Muggles were highly amusing, and this... kite festival was proof of that. From his spot on a blanket in the shade of a tree (like he was a commoner on a picnic -- really, this whole hiding until after Voldemort's downfall thing was a pain in the arse), he watched as one person would take off running and another would launch the plastic or fabric kite into the air, the two hoping their combined efforts would cause the kite to fly for a few moments. It was Wingardium Leviosa with a string and a lot more work.

[livejournal.com profile] football_girl wanted H/D and puppies... so she gets a double drabble.

Although it was still relatively early, Draco was exhausted when he finally made it home. When he crossed through the front door -- which Harry had left unlocked and unwarded again -- he called for Harry and got no answer. As he wandered through the house they shared, there was no sign of the other man. His mind filled with possibilities -- none of them good, given what his Death Eater contact had relayed to him earlier that afternoon. He walked out into the gardens behind the house and heard muffled noises of a struggle and what sounded like pleading, "No, stop!" Wand drawn, he cautiously edged to the corner of the hedge that separated him from the sounds.

Harry was on the ground and apparently laughing as several blurry balls of fluff attack him. Puppies. Where in the name of Merlin had he managed to find puppies when he couldn't leave the house?

Draco cleared his throat loudly, causing Harry to look up.

"Oh, Draco, look!" Harry pushed the puppies aside enough so he could sit up. "Luna found them -- six of them -- and Ron would only let her keep three, so she brought me the others. You don't mind, right?"

[livejournal.com profile] nekare gave me several fantastic prompts, and therefore she gets several drabbles. Multifandom.

1. Justin's eyes were hurting like hell, a combination of his allergies acting up and the fact he was up all night working out his latest inspiration. He hadn't even realized how late it had grown until the first rays of the new day started to filter in through the windows of his loft. This afternoon he was paying for it -- his eyes, his hand, and wasn't he still too young to be this damned tired after only one night of no sleep? After all, Brian... was standing at the loft door. Justin smiled; suddenly the day didn't seem so bad.

2. Lucy hated rainy days. Oh, she knew that rain made the flowers grow and all sorts of other necessary nonsense. It wasn't really the rain that bothered her, or the fact that it usually meant being cooped up inside, or even the fact that a grey, overcast sky affected everyone's moods. No, there was one real reason why Lucy hated rainy days: the umbrellas. Her favorite childhood friend -- no matter she was a child once more -- was forever pictured in her mind carrying an umbrella and a stack of parcels, just the way he had been when she met him.

Lucy and Mr Tumnus would walk in the rain, protected by his umbrella and the canopy of trees, and head down to a small pond. Lucy had insisted it was a lake when she first saw it, but it really wasn't that big. They spent many a day there, sitting on of the bank, talking of nothing and everything as Lucy dangled her feet in the water and let the little fishes inside nibble on her toes. Those days were full of freedom, happiness, and true friendship. The years of memories Lucy had brought back from Narnia weren't always enough.

3. Remus and Lily were sitting in the library, working on a Charms assignment. Remus looked up when he heard James and Sirius -- they tended to be extremely loud when they tried to be quiet. Remus knew it was only a matter of time before James made a fool of himself yet again. The harder James tried to impress Lily, the more he failed.

James headed straight for their table, an unmistakeable cockiness fueling both his smile and his swagger. He turned one of the chairs backwards and straddled it, leaning forward just a bit... and falling flat on his face.
