Jun. 7th, 2006 10:08 amI apparently can't really stay away from LJ.
Life is still sucking, but I'm back on my meds, which makes a world of difference. And I'm back to being able to pretend that things are okay, which is good too.
I have a pile of comments that need to be replied to, and I'm going to do that later today/tonight/whatever, so if you get a reply on a comment that's weeks old, that's why.
Thanks to all of yall who wished me happy birthday and laughed at my birthday post (seriously, the lack of typos there made mean I wasn't really drunk enough) and sent me stuff in the mail. Yall rock!
Am still being a slacker, but I did get some writing during my attempts to escape RL. They have to be typed up and sent to de and wendy for approval, though, and then beta'd before I can post them.
Rec Time instead. And I know that a lot of the time I tend to rec friends or something my friends have recced, but that's because I don't have the time lately to be able to read outside my little circle. So, if you know of something good that I should read and have apparently missed, let me know, yeah? Also, there are a lot more fic recs, but the links are apparently on the other computer so I'll try to get them tonight.

A novel length post HBP HG/SS romance adventure. Some HP/GW and RL/NT. Lots of book seven theories. What if Severus returned, trained Harry for the final battle and worked to destroy the final Horcruxes? Story is WiP, but is actually completed and updated regularly.

The war is over, Voldemort and the Death Eaters have been destroyed. The survivors are clinging to the last vestiges of innocence as they rebuild their lives. Smothered by the resulting protectiveness of her family, Ginny sneaks out for an evening of fun and danger with a few friends. Lonely and a little lost, Remus is out to drink his memories away. They share a night of rebellion and desperation only to find themselves entangled in more than a one night stand.
This is a Remus/Ginny story, and I absolutely love it.
Moons of Deceit by Grace has Victory.
Remus Lupin tolerates mischievous friends and lycanthropy, while the prophetic Ariadne MacDougal has a misguided family, and everyone must deal with the Death Eaters. A story of the death of innocence and the renewal of hope during Voldemort’s first war. Part I of “The Moon-Cursers”.
I've been meaning to rec this one for a while; the more I read of it the more I'm drawn into it.

Shut up about the pairing! I thoroughly expect all of you to read Garden of Sun and Tears when I get it done, so get over it! *g*
