Jan. 5th, 2007 09:20 pmHI!! I hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend! It's cold & rainy & yucky here, a good weekend to lie around the house with a book or something. I went to the bookstore this afternoon to pick up a few new books for Harley and ended up getting the first two books in Stephen King's Dark Tower series for $4 each, so I guess that's what I'll be doing most of the next couple days. Also? I now have in my possession tickets to the Monster Truck Winter Nationals for next weekend (which is what we're doing for Davey's birthday party, going to see monster trucks) and tickets for the Sugarland/Little Big Town concert next month. YAY!!
I've got music to share, just because. The first one is the one I've been singing for several days now b/c it won't get out of my head. It's complete nonsense, but it's catchy and fun to sing. Naked Mole Rat Rap with Rufus and Ron Stoppable (from Kim Possible)
There's a new CMT movie with Toby Keith in it called Broken Bridges, and it was a really awesome movie. The actress that plays his daughter in the movie is Lindsay Haun, and in it she sings this song that's absolutely amazing and I've been meaning to share it for weeks now.

And then there's Lonestar. Lonestar is one of my all-time favorite artists. I love their music, and honestly, how can you not love a band that has a song called Women Rule the World? And I actually have two of their songs to share tonight.
The first is their latest, and I just love it b/c it's such an inspiring song.
