Jun. 5th, 2007 11:13 pmI have the suckiest internets in the history of internet. It lets me on for like five minute increments, then goes down forever. And I have RL stuff to attend to online, so I'm just now being able to use my stolen time for LJ. Stupid thing. Yesterday it let me check my flist, and there were half a dozen posts that I wanted to comment on, but of course I couldn't. And now I don't remember what they were (except for Ash's latest fic and the h/d thing ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

I actually worked a full 8 hours today!! It was the first time in 2 weeks! Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that I told Nancy yesterday that the leaving early shit wasn't working for me (even though it's nice every once in a while) and that she could surely find something for me to do. So the rest of my shift got sent home early & I didn't. Of course, that probably means that by Thursday or Friday I'll be doing crappy stuff like making boxes or housekeeping, but as long as I'm still getting paid, I'll be happy.
The ballgame tonight got rained out in the 3rd inning, which is cool b/c it means they have to play a makeup game. They were losing. They won like 23 games in a row, then the past three games they have sucked so badly. I mean, like fumbling the ball and tripping over their own feet and grrr! Not a fun time to be a fan. My cousin wasn't working tonight but she came to the game anyways so I got to hear all about her honeymoon to Jamaica. Well, not all about, obviously, b/c there's some honeymoon stuff I don't wanna hear from her, but you know what I mean. And it was nice to get to sit and talk to her for a while.
Overheard at the ballgame tonight: "Oh, cute, like you're not, you compulsive liar!"
Someone should write me Trickyfish fic to the prompt of "save the lap dance for me" and Chris calls Lance "Lancey-pants." Yeah, I have no idea where that came from either, but give me a few minutes and I'll find a few people to blame.
There's more I want to say, but I'm afraid my time will run out, so I'll stop for now. *smooches* I hope all yall are having a great week, and special thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes!
