Oct. 21st, 2007 07:26 pmI made an old woman cry today. I should probably be ashamed of myself, but I'm positively GLEEFUL that I made that coocoobat cry and leave the party. Bitch. GRRR! But I really don't want to talk about that. So, happier things from my weekend:
**Rachel had an awesome birthday party.
**We all had an awesome time yesterday at the carnival at the Elementary School (and after doing the cake walk FIVE TIMES I finally won a cake. It wasn't the one I originally wanted, but it's homemade and it's a peaches-and-cream cake and it's so so so yummy!) and at our family dinner at the Homeplace.
**Tinsley was gonna go with me and Harley to the FOB concert (and bring her little brother William) but b/c of her work schedule she can't. So, instead, she's gonna buy tickets for me and her to go see Brad Paisley and Rodney Adkins the next night. Seriously, best best friend ever!
**Got to watch HP & Goblet of Fire on the big screen last night for movies-in-the-park
**My friend Jacob had his truck stolen last night. Called the cops, filed a report, yadda yadda. This morning someone said they saw it up near the lake (it's pretty huge and recognizable). Well, when Jacob and Crystal got home from church this morning, the truck was back in the driveway. Nothing was missing (and he had a rifle in the gun rack and decent collection of CDs and close to $50 in change and small bills in it), whoever had it had cleaned it inside and out, and it had a full tank of gas. WTF? None of our friends will fess up to doing it. It's crazy!
It's an early bedtime night, so I'm gonna finish up bathtimes and books and hopefully the internet will still be up and running when I'm done. How were yalls weekends?
