Nov. 20th, 2007 09:39 pmRonnie lost his first tooth today! Yay! Only one problem -- anyone know what the going rate for teeth is? B/c this is my first night of playing tooth fairy and I asked my brother (b/c Haley's already lost 3 teeth) and he said that Haley was at her momma's each time and her momma is crazy and gave her five dollars for each tooth. I'm thinking four quarters sounds good. Oh, wait, there's another problem. His tooth came out while he was on the playground at big school, so he literally lost it. Whoops. He had to write a note to the tooth fairy and stick it under his pillow.
Ross got busted for text messaging at work yesterday. I'm sure I've probably said, but we aren't supposed to have our cell phones in the warehouse at all. But I carry mine, and I've been known to txt during the day (usually if I'm bored, like when I'm training, or when I'm pissed off at my job) but I know exactly where I can stand to avoid being seen, plus I make 150% of my production numbers on a bad day, so I don't have to worry about being watched as much as the others do. But now, if we get caught with our phones in the building it's an automatic write up. Which means I have to leave mine in my car. Doesn't seem like that big a deal, I guess, but it is! Damn Ross!
We're getting new RF guns at work and I spent most of today testing them out trying to help Garen (our network admin) get the kinks worked out of it. Fun. I also had to do a bunch of other crap which is technically the job of a team lead, which I'm not and which I don't want to be, and at one point I was like "all I wanted to do today was come in here and pick orders, not all this other bullshit". Of course, that led to Ross saying all he wanted to do today was stay in bed, so I guess he has a point.
We're having a potluck tomorrow. Yum. I love food. No wonder I'm fat. But I'm okay with that, actually. I made ham biscuits and cupcakes. Thursday morning, the boys and I are going to walk in the "Drumstick Dash" which is a fundraiser type thing for the Rescue Mission, so that's cool. My brothers are coming over for Thanksgiving, of course, and we have plans to sit around and play board games. And be mean to Kristina, which is practically a holiday tradition 'round these parts. It may be one of my favorites, actually. Friday (which is someone's birthday) Tinsley & I are going Black Friday shopping. Yes, we are crazy. We are also poor, so those sales are rather necessary. Saturday night we're going to Olive Garden and then to Schooners for drinks to celebrate Tinsley's birthday. And it's gonna be a late night, I can feel it. We're not getting started til late b/c Tinsley & her dad & brother are going to the VT/UVA game (which is a HUGE deal around here).
Um, what else did I want to say... idk. Hope everyone is having a good week! *loves*
