First off, a HUGE thank you and lots of love for all the birthday wishes! Yall make me feel so special!! *snuggles*

Now...

1. Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2. List (and upload, if you feel like it) 5 songs that start with that letter.
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions.

Okay, we all know I can't follow directions properly. So, I uploaded 10 for each letter (it was hard enough to narrow it down that much!) and made sure they weren't all country songs. Lemme know if you want a letter too.

[livejournal.com profile] exsequar gave me L!

Lie to Me by Shane Mack. OMG, guys. I just… I got to see Shelter this weekend and I kinda love it a lot and this song is from the soundtrack (which I do have, if anyone wants). I don’t even know why I love it, b/c it’s pretty sad, but I do, so much.

Learn to Be Still by The Eagles. The Eagles are one of my all-time favorites.

Life Ain’t Always Beautiful by Gary Allen. I’ve been a Gary Allen fan for over a decade now. One of the first concerts I ever went to was him and Mark Chestnut, back when the only song he had on the radio was House of Love, which no one knows now b/c he disappeared for several years before making a comeback. But this song has an awesome message, life ain’t always beautiful, but it’s a beautiful ride.

Little Black Backpack by Stroke 9. Dude. I don’t even know who in fandom introduced me to Stroke 9, but I love them. This song is one of my favorites of theirs and I can’t help but sing along with it whenever I hear it.

Living Our Love Song by Jason Michael Carroll. This was one of the songs we included on my brother’s wedding cd. Plus, I saw JMC live last weekend, and he’s got an amazing stage presence. And it’s cute.

Loco by David Lee Murphy. This is my life, seriously. I might me a little bit loco, but it keeps me from losing mind / yeah I might be a little bit loco baby, but a little bit crazy’s alright.

Love You Much Better by The Hush Sound. I LOVE THE HUSH SOUND!! In case you’ve somehow missed that lately. This song makes me HAPPY and makes me wanna dance and sing along and it’s GRETA and her boys and just *happy sigh*.

Lucky 4 U by SHeDAISY. You always said that I had multiple personalities / I bounce around somewhere between my dreams and reality. That is so me. And this is a fun song, even if the chorus is repeated eleven times or something.

Lullabies by All Time Low. I kinda love ATL a bunch, but this song, idek what it is. I heard it once and thought it would be good for fanfic, but then I got hooked on it. I think it’s awesome.

Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off by Panic at the Disco. BRENDON! Patd! I’m not even gonna try to explain the why on this one. *g*

And [livejournal.com profile] trackscovered gave me W!

We Rode in Trucks by Luke Bryan. Okay, so this is another song that really reflects my life, b/c where I grew up, we still ride in trucks. But deeper than that, it’s about friendships and growing up and whatnot. we were poor, we were ugly, we were all best friends / wide eyed, baptized, and still wanting to sin.

Wait by Huffamoose. This song is forever old now, like I was in love with Huffamoose when I was in high school more than ten years ago. And this song is still on my “music to porn to” playlist.

Walk a Little Straighter by Billy Currington. The first time I heard this song, I’m pretty sure I cried. My dad is an alcoholic, so I can totally relate to this.

Wasted Jamie by Steve Carlson. Another song I can’t help but sing along to. And another great artist-find that I owe to fandom. There was also a point in time where this was Davey’s favorite song so we listened to it A LOT. But I still think it’s awesome.

What I Almost Was by Eric Church. We have all made decisions in our lives that we wonder if they were the right ones. But in the end, I think things usually turn out the way they’re meant to be, and I know there have been times in my life when I look back and think, I thank God I ain’t what I almost was.

What We Know Now by Restless Heart. These are all slow/somber songs. Sorry. Another reflective song. If we knew then what we know now, we could’ve turned the world upside down.

When You Come Back Down by Nickel Creek. Two years ago, De did a phone post of herself doing a cover of this song for my birthday. I was going through a really rough time right then, and this song never fails to make me cry b/c it reminds me of how awesome De is.

Who Said by Hannah Montana. Yeah yeah, laugh it up.

Wonderwall by Oasis. One of THE songs from my teenage years. Lots and lots of memories associated with this one.

The World Has Its Shine by Cobra Starship. I can’t even begin to explain my love for Cobra, but when their album came out last fall I listened to it on repeat for weeks and even though my favorite song changed nearly as often as the cd changed tracks, this is one of the ones I decided was my favorite. <3

And another meme, stolen from the fantabulous [livejournal.com profile] gossymer.

1. It begins with a list of all 26 letters of the alphabet.
2. Comment with something for me to talk about that starts with one of those letters. Make me babble about anything -- TV shows, actors, actresses, food, idk, be creative. :D
3. One topic per letter -- it's like a claims list! I will cross off letters as topics appear.
4. I will post a new post talking about all 26 topics given to me!
