pecos? She was one of my first LJ friends, way back in LotR fandom a million years ago, but more than that, she is an amazing person. Seriously, she is one of the most warm-hearted, genuine, friendly, generous people I have ever met in my entire LIFE. (for values of "met" that took place solely on the internet)
Anywho.pecos lives in Aurora, and she works at a bookstore that is super close to the theater where all the shit happened last week. All week long, I've been wishing I could do something more than offer her virtual hugs and heart comments left on LJ and FB (b/c we all know that my default when I have no words is ♥). She has made it easy for me to do just that.
She is going to collect postcards from whereever (hopefully from a lot of whereevers, because this is the internet, you guys, and this is such an easy thing for us to do, to put some words of encouragement on a postcard and drop it in the mail) and make an album of them to share with the Aurora community.
