don't apologize. if I didn't want honest answers, I wouldn't have asked.
It just seemed weird to me tonight, b/c seriously, every other concert that I've been to at this civic center, everyone on the floor (in the floor seats and on the risers) has been standing. The people in the seats on the sides of the arena don't. So it just surprised me that there were like four or five random patches of two or three people in the risers and on the floor that sat the entire time. (and one of them had an infant in a carseat carrier -- why would you bring an infant to a concert?) And I never thought about it before now.
Also, I'm short too, so if I can't get seats in the first half a dozen rows, I buy tickets for seats in the risers b/c that way I'm sure to see over the people in front of me. Next time I'm gonna make sure our seats are on the top row of the risers so I don't have to worry about anyone being behind me.
Basically, when someone's standing in front of me, it's like I paid 60 bucks for a radio broadcast that I could've stayed at home for free for and that pisses me off to no end.
Yeah, that's pretty much what my stepdad said. I never thought of it that way, b/c like i said, i'm used to the standing. And I can totally understand about being pissed about that.
