Why is it that this post makes me wanna ask my friends what color their underwear is? *g*
Ok, guys. Apparently there is a virus running rampant in our fandoms again -- nocommentitis. Characterized by reading lots of fanfic and leaving feedback on none. I admit, I am guilty, especially lately, on not leaving feedback like I should, especially on some of you guys that are close on my flist (and doubly especially if I beta it, either off-site or in the OWL vQ). But one of my resolutions is to get better at it. There is a discussion going on here about this, but apparently there is a need to resurrect these yet again:

Feedback is wonderful, guys, and it's the only pay fanfic authors get. Even if it's just a thanks! or a smiley, it's nice to know that someone has read our work.
That said, I have crack!fic scheduled to hit later tonight, but in the meantime, how about humourous smut written by the fantabulous

Date: 2006-01-09 02:43 am (UTC)I tried that color-thingy earlier, out of curiosity, and you know what I got for 'none'? Klan white. It's true, that area hasn't seen sunshine in a while, but 'Klan'?

Date: 2006-01-09 02:53 am (UTC)I almost always leave feedback, the only time I don't is when it's the "if you don't have anything nice to say..." type. Though, I admit, when I beta something, I figure I've already left feedback.
I need sleep. Love ya, hun.

Date: 2006-01-09 03:07 am (UTC)My excuse, though, it's that it was on my days in ff.net, and well, lets accept it, feedback is never really good in there.
Good thing is, I've improved a lot in that aspect. I've been leaving feedback for practically every story I read, since well, I'm a review whore too and it's only fair people I admire get to know that too.
Thanks for bringing this up, btw. :)

Date: 2006-01-09 06:22 am (UTC)I love the smileys. I'm collecting them. I have a whole shoebox full. I print them out, and then cut them with pretty scrapbooking scissors and put them in the decorated shoebox.
Paper's expensive, though.
