I don't have anything to cheer you up with either, except Even In Antarctica, which is an amusing bit of Remus/Sirius that I wrote a while back.
Goodness, does everyone on my flist need lessons in cheering-people-up? *g* Just playing. I went and read your ficlet & it made me laugh out loud; the heathens are looking at me like I'm crazy (ok, so I am crazy, but oh well). Nothing better than the puppies to cheer a person up. Except maybe eating chocolate while reading puppy!fic...
That is terrible about your friend's one-month-old, and I can't for the life of me figure out why no one would come right out & tell you. And I'm sorry you're not feeling well. :(
My two month old daughter (my first child) died. So a lot of people in my life act weird towards me. Plus I did kinda get a little crazy when my friend Brian died back in the fall, but like I told alliwantisanelf, that was different.
How is the sick-kid situation at your house? Are the little ones feeling better?
