It's been a while since we had a good game of Truth-or-Dare. So, who wants to play?

Basic rules:

01. Reply with a comment and I'll tell you which one I want, either truth or a dare. Dares should pretty much stay within my LJ, and not be anything that will get us reported to LJ Abuse.

02. I either answer the truth or perform the dare.

03. In return, I get to ask you "Truth or dare?"

Some of you have played before; I think last time a majority of the dares ended up being fic dares. Which I only just recently finished. *deliberately ignores the fact that there's one left outstanding from a non-official tod game in one of the comment parties* Other examples of dares include things that have to be left in comments, things with associated flists (like go to my flist & comment on three different journals of people you don't have friended), pic spams, posting pics of something (myself, my pets, the ceiling in my bedroom), the list goes on and on...

And, some of you remember that I avoid answering Truth. But, b/c I love you guys & I'm feeling adventurous, if you want to hit me with a Truth and a Dare, I'll do both. Luckily, this isn't a magical Truth or Dare game, where we'd me obligated to do the dares or else (Naked Quidditch Match, anyone?) but please play with me? Especially some of my non-HP flisters; y'all are way too quiet!!

just want you to know, i can't do fic-on-demand. (and i'm not good at coming up with dares, so...)

Truth or Dare?

(d'you know, i wrote truth or Dean? hee. i really do have a one-track mind these days)

Truth or Dean? Would you even have to ask that question? B/c you know I'd totally take Dean, even if it was a fantasy/unreality/whatever. *g*

But given the choice between Truth or Dare -- I pick Dare. (I have faith that you can come up with something good)

How about you -- Truth or Dare?

huh. i'll pick Dean.

ok, i'm not sure if i'll get thwacked, (i admit that i've not read your fic) but how about a *short* fluffy (hee) *het* something from HP? (and NOT Hermione/Snape... no.)

me? hm. Dean. i mean, Truth.

You know, just the name makes me grin like a complete fucking goober. And your icon doesn't help. I can't believe I've let you feed my obsession like this. I think I owe you cookies or something.

short, fluffy, het from HP, not HG/SS? I can totally do that! I already have an idea! *g*

If I could give you Dean, I would. If you promised to share. Or at least take really good pics.

Truth: Would you ever leave your hubby for an actor? sorry, couldn't resist

Um, in case you haven't picked it up, I'm horrible at coming up with truths and dares. So, hot ghost-hunters aside, do you believe in the supernatural and has anything supernatural ever happened to you?

i like chocolate chip :)

i'm not good at sharing non-picspam, and i don't take pics, sorry.

i do believe in the supernatural, actually. and i also believe in what Sam had said in Hell House: believing in something give it credibilty and form.

well, i think we have a ghost cat at home... cause there's been times when i'm in bed, hubby's sleeping (or has already awoken), and it feels like a cat has jumped on the bed (we have four)... and no one's there.

i don't know if this counts, but we had to put one of our cats to sleep last july; i had a first dream about him -- he was at my mom's. weird. the second dream was he was curled up in bed next to me, purring. then -- i haven't had a dream about him since.

guess that kinda answers it :)

i like chocolate chip :) Yeah, I think those are most popular. The cookie dough is even more popular. *g* I think second is white chocolate chunk macadamia nut cookies. Which I've been promising to send to [livejournal.com profile] ltlredhairdgirl for like a month...

i'm not good at sharing non-picspam, and i don't take pics, sorry. Well, then I guess I'd have to keep him for myself. *g*

that definitely counts. Good answer!

i love chocolate chip cookie dough! yummy!!

wait! you can't keep Dean if you gave him to me! :P

my 8-year-old, J, is always asking me if Bloody Mary is real. she has a friend who says she is... and it doesn't help that J is always asking me about the SN eps and stuff. i do tell it's tv, it's fiction... but i'm not all that sure she believes me :)

b/c of some conversations from last weekend with [livejournal.com profile] alliwantisanelf, I'll never think of chocolate chip cookie dough the same way again. *g*

I said I'd give him to you if you'd share or take pics. But you won't. So I'll keep him. Of course, we are working on a super sekrit project involving cloning, so maybe there can be a Dean for you and a Dean for me?

You know, I kinda do think that all the urban legends had to get started somewhere, whether it was an actual occurance or something like what happened in Hell House. My kids are 4 & 5, as I may have told you, and they're still kinda iffy about separating real from tv/fiction, but they both believe that nothing bad can get them b/c their sister is an angel & watches out for them & "keeps the bad ghosts away".

I believed in Bloody Mary when I was younger. And the Candyman too. *g*

uhm... i thought it was super sekrit. hee.

all urban legends get started somewhere. how long ago and how close to the original story they are now would be interesting to find out.

Candyman was an awesome movie, and Tony Todd is a very cool actor!

Well, the details are sekrit, anyhow. *g* Quite a few people on Tauri outside the staff know about it, though, so I guess it's not too too secret. *g*

I love the whole idea of urban legends, but I'd love even more to research/study the origins.

I loved the first Candyman; the sequels didn't do much for me.

yeah, not so sekrit anymore, eh? i'll certainly take a clone...as long as it's an EXACT duplicate of Dean!!

i'm an urban legend junkie! have you evern been to snopes.com (http://www.snopes.com/)? awesome stuff there. :)

i think i've seen one of the sequels. i'm also a cheesy horror slasher flick junkie too. (which explains why i liked Devour too..)

lol -- yes, exact duplicates, of course.

Yup, I have snopes.com as one of the lengths in my Author & Beta Resource Guide (link at top of my journal if you haven't seen that yet; it's awesome, even if I do say so myself).

I like cheesy horror slasher movies too. I actually liked Devour too, and I went into it not expecting to like it b/c of what everyone was saying.

actually, i have your "Author & Beta Resource Guide" in my memories :)

i watched Devour with the same attitude as i did House of Wax: i wonder who's gonna be left at the end?

hee.

LoL -- that's cool. I'm hoping that someone gets some use out of my guide. *g*

You know, I haven't seen House of Wax. I wonder if my brother has it...

House of Wax? i have it, wanna come over and watch? hee.
