So, I ended up being the mom last night. But it's okay b/c I still had a good time. And I got to do a lot of flirting with the hot bartender.

Fic Recs for a Saturday Morning:

I haven't been reading much of anything lately, but I caught sight of this on _emeraldgreen's LJ and even though it's not an official fic or whatever, it reminded me of how much I love her writing style, so I have to share.

A bit of Marauder-era porn featuring Remus/James, along with some James/Sirius, Remus/Sirius and quite a bit of James/Regulus.

Now... some of you know that I have secret affection for Harry/Luna. And my de wrote an awesome H/L kinda story for reversathon. It's 4000 words of major angst and dark themes.

Request/Summary: Harry/Luna. Post-war. Harry's miserable, drinking himself into oblivion type thing. Along comes Luna to sort him out. Doubt, insecurities, etc. Up to you whether she manages to sort him out or it all ends up rather postmodern and ambiguous.

And speaking of H/L, one of my favorite stories has been completed. Azar Darkstar's How to Tell the Truth from the Lies can be found on OWL/Tauri if you're a member there and on ff.net if you're not. It's a multi-chaptered, AU, Harry-is-Salazar story, with a very interesting twist on canon and other commonly accepted HP-truths. It's definitely worth a read, but there are dark/mature themes, violence, death, etc.

Now... I'm off to the Voldemort store and to the creek for the afternoon. I have an original short story to post later, if anyone wants to volunteer to read over it before I do (except for krystal b/c it's for her and I can't ask her to betaread her own present). It's short and kinda schmoopy, but oh well. *g*
