Haven't done a damn thing that's on my to-do list, though my special peoples have done an excellent job at trying to keep my motivated & on task. Actually I just got home. Went w/ my brother and the kids to McD's and let the kids play in the play thingy. Rode to the star. It's a beautiful night, if it is just a little cloudy. Wanted to share a piece of my hometown with you all.

My little sister is 12. One of the boys that she knows has been in a coma for over a week -- diabetic coma. All of his organs are shutting down & the prognosis doesn't look good. His parents didn't even know he had diabetes. One of my sister's close friends was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes when she was five or six. She wears a monitor all the time and all the girls in their little group have been taught how to recognize the signs that Chrissy is in trouble & how to help her. Still, it's a very scary thought.

Next weekend, September 25th, a bunch of us are going to walk in our local JRDF walk as part of Christina's Family and Friends Team.
