Viggorli Fandom Self-Pimp Fic-Rec-O'Rama

The Viggorli fandom has been around for a while, and there's alot of early authors and fics that are overlooked by current readers, just because they were posted so long ago. There's a treasure trove of fic out there waiting to be discovered!

So copy this text into your journal, and add a link to one of your older fics that you think has been languishing in obscurity for far too long! If you are not a writer, paste a link to an older fic that you really love that you would like to recommend to everybody. Ok, well, um, there are very few people on my flist in the V/O fandom, and most of my experience reading comes from their stuff. Or their recs. So, I'll add my favorite, b/c it's one of the first ones I ever started reading, even though it's still not finished...

Yes, I already did this once. I'm sure we all remember my fucked-up maths. *g* But I'll do five more, b/c there are plenty of weird habits/facts about me to choose from. And I won't tag anyone, but if you haven't done this yet, feel free.

1. I feel guilty if I write anything / work on my own stuff when there are fics in the vQ... *g* (I know that I shouldn't, Jen, you don't have to say it! But I do!)

2. I never get anything done on time. (who didn't know this already)

3. I randomly start singing to myself or talking to myself (outloud) when it gets too quiet. Especially at work.

4. I have always had a thing for older men (sometimes way older) but lately I've developed a fascination with a younger one... (don't tell ltlredhairdgirl, b/c she'll fuss at me *g*)

5. I won't change the light on my porch b/c there's always a spiderweb in the fixture -- I always wait for one of my brothers or one of my friends to come over and do it.

I can be a really bad LJ/online friends sometimes. Some of you know this.

I LOVE YOU, DE! I feel like I've been ignoring you all frickin week & it totally wasn't intentional but I still feel horrible about it! Forgive me?

Also, the most recent but not the least of my horrible treatment of anael: I told her on IM I was coming back last night but went to bed instead (wtf is up with mother nature coming a week early? And my back hurts so much I don't wanna move, even though I can't get comfortable!) and left the messenger window up, so that my heathens sent her lovely messages this morning when they got up.

My house is still dirty, my back still hurts. I still haven't finished typing up the most recent chapter of Garden, even though I told Jen like two days ago I'd send it to her. I haven't dug out my other fanfic disk to resend the HP/QaF crossover to maddykitty. And I'm watching reruns of Crossing Jordan instead of the Superbowl b/c I hate football.

And a recipe for Caesar Chicken Wraps:

1 7.5oz pkg Complete Caesar Salad Mix
1 cup chopped cooked chicken (either leftovers or you can buy already-cooked chicken)
4 (8- or 9-inch) tortillas
shredded Parmesan cheese

Crush croutons from salad mix and set aside (or just eat them, or feed them to the kids, like I did). Combine remaining salad mix together with chicken; mix well. Spoon evenly onto tortillas; spread. Sprinkle w/ crushed croutons and Parmesan cheese. Roll up each tortilla & enjoy! (this is what me and the kids had for dinner)
