Okay, I'm not sure I understand the obsession about my undies, other than the fact my flist is a bunch of pervs (lovely pervs, but pervs nonetheless) so I changed that post to just flocked. *shakes head* Yall are on crack; you really should share.

Her dare: ok, i'm not sure if i'll get thwacked, (i admit that i've not read your fic) but how about a *short* fluffy (hee) *het* something from HP? (and NOT Hermione/Snape... no.)

Just a tad longer than a drabble -- just over 500 words actually. I will probably go back and expand on it at a later date, actually. Nivalis Home is one of my creations (with some help from Jen (ordinary_magic, Potion Mistress on OWL and a couple of the elves from the RF Yahoo group) and the cheesecake reference is something out of Garden of Sun and Tears, even though this is set a couple years earlier than Garden. And it isn't completely thought out, so you've been warned. Oh, and have I mentioned I can't write fluff?

I tried, dove, but I don't think I made the mark. My mind is stuck in HP-gear at the moment. But it's Sam's POV (kinda) and set after Something Wicked (told you I missed the mark). Exactly 400 words.

So, this music meme is making it's way around yet again. I've seen it several places around my flist the past several days, so I figured now is as good a time as any to procrastinate. Especially since I really wanna be working on writing some Ben/Michael & I have no fricking episodes for inspiration.

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post a line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. (I posted the first two for most of these b/c I can't follow directions)
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly. (I'm actually gonna screen comments for the first 24 hours or so, to give everyone a chance -- competition of the fandoms, maybe? *g* As I recall, last time we did this, I had one person from the Viggorli fandom guess more correctly than all my HP flisters combined. One point for song title, one point for artist, two points for the next line of the song)
Step 5: No cheating.

Home on my lunch break and I just had to make a quick post to say how much I absolutely adore ltlredhairdgirl and it totally made my day to have a message from you on my answering machine when I got here! Congratulations on getting your article published; I'm so proud of you!!! Now, about this homework that you're waiting until the last minute to do...

Tinsley called to invite me to a party Friday night, and specifically mentioned that J (mr tequila and bite marks -- few posts back) was gonna be there, like he's an added incentive. I wonder if I should be worried.

Thank y'all for playing truth-or-dare with me. I still owe de a drabble about the icon, which I'll post privately as soon as it's written, and I owe darkcelestial20 a ficlet which I'm gonna have to get some help from mimiheart on. I also have some recs for y'all, but I'll probably wait until tomorrow to post them. Along with the answers to the music meme (thanks for playing that, too! I feel so loved!)
