(no subject)

Used to be that LJ got in the way of my real life; lately it's been the complete other way around. So... in case you didn't know, today is a very special day (if you haven't been over to we_love_wendy yet, go by and leave her some birthday love!). I started writing something for wendy a week ago. I know exactly where it's going, I just have to find the time to sit down and finish it. But RL keeps interfering, with sick kids, and best friends calling for a ride home b/c they're completely wasted and the DD (me) wasn't out with them, and Halloween parties (church party & community festival for the kids, Josh's Halloween party Saturday night, which was awesome! I have pics. None of me but everyone else's costumes and such were awesome), the Field of Screams last night, my friend's mom being hospitalized so I talked to him for hours last night. And the boring stuff like work and grocery shopping and trying to rearrange storage yet again to dig out more winter clothes and getting bad news on Saturday that has completely depressed me.

Anywho, I wanted to apologize to everyone for not being around, and to wendy in particular because her birthday fic hasn't been finished. But if I get it done by midnight, it still counts as a birthday fic, right?

I gotta go give baths and read bedtime stories. Love and hugs to all yall!
