Yesterday was Harley's birthday. She's 14. In honor of that (I was gonna ask this yesterday but I totally fail at sisterhood apparently & didn't!), could yall rec me some stuff? She's going through the links I send her faster than I can send them, I think (after she finishes her homework of course). But anything that's not NC-17. Any fandom is probably okay. I've been sending her bandslash because that's what I've been reading, but also popslash or HP or SPN (I dunno her feelings about wincest, but J2 is totally cool). As long as there are no explicit sex scenes. So, rec me something you really like or that you think she would like or that would keep her busy. (She already read SBP and Stealing Harry and Battle of Wills in HP fandom, which are like the longest fics I know of).

Remind me later to post the pics of her in her birthday tiara and the ball python around her neck. And the pics of the boys' first day of school! Davey loves kindergarten, btw, and Ronnie seems to be better about wanting to go to school since Davey is there now too.

I had something else I was gonna say but I have no clue what it was.

OH! I made a post last weekend & totally intended to catch up on LJ after that, but then I got a call that Storm (my friend's little boy -- this is the friend who is recently pregnant & I'm having problems being happy about it) was in the hospital. He apparently fell on the steps and busted his mouth and had to have frickin surgery and several sets of stitches and everything. My life is so dramafied! Ack! So I wanna apologize for being so far behind on LJ and all my LJ friends. And for not responding in a timely manner to comments left to me. And for missing trystan830's birthday last week, and anyone else's I may have missed. And for being a general loser! *g*
