(no subject)

Someone needs to write me AU where Justin Taylor and Gerard Way go to art school together. Yeah, Idk either. But the idea came up, so...

So, went out last night. Pics to come, once Tinsley gets un-hungover enough to post them. Josh went with us, which is awesome because I LOVE Josh. He's like the most charismatic person I've ever met in my life and he's so much fun to be around. His wife didn't go with us, so he was a little crazier than usual, plus he had just come from the VT/UVA game (YAY HOKIES!) so he was hyped up. The first thing he did when we got to the resturant was go flirt with the bartender. Who was a really hot guy. At dinner, I somehow got separated from Tinsley & was at the complete opposite end of the table with Margot & some girls I don't know and who were very quiet so it was kinda boring except Tinsley kept texting me and Josh kept fucking with the quiet girls b/c he can't stand for someone to be quiet. Dinner was fantastic though. Oh, and an upside to being all the way at the end of the table was that Tinsley couldn't make me share her calamari, which I'm still iffy on.

We went to Schooners after that (except for Margot & her boyfriend b/c she never goes out with us) and luckily knew some people who already had a table. Everyone proceeded to get really drunk & I remember how fun it is to be the DD and be able to people-watch and laugh at everyone else. There was an instance of ice-thowing (trying to land it in one another's cleavage -- the bouncer was highly amused), Amy tried to molest the bouncer, Amy also kept grabbing Jacob's ass (this quiet little boy that apparently works with Tinsley & Amy & them) and at one point she was like "I don't mean to violate you, but apparently I am, so I apologize. You're just so cute!" Josh has this way of making everyone feel good about themselves, and there was this older woman there with her daughters, and she was celebrating her divorce, and Josh dragged her out on the dancefloor and it made her night. John didn't come out (b/c he has a new girlthing & she's underage) but he said that Courtney turns 21 in 2 weeks and that we all need to go out then, so Josh is gonna come back up for that. Then Josh's bday is two weeks after that.

Black Friday sales -- my brother & I hit Walmart at 4:30, and then Tinsley & I went several places after that, so I am DONE with my Christmas shopping. The only thing I had to search for (had to go to multiple places to find) was a new hunting knife for Tim, but I found one on sale for $40 when they're usually like $65. So that worked.

Friday, in case you didn't listen to my voice post of my kids happily singing off-key, was irisgirl12000's birthday! irisgirl12000 IS MADE OF AWESOME! Seriously, I love her so much, foremost as a friend, but also as a fellow fangirl, a writer, a beta, and my favorite lab elf. She is one of my oldest fandom friends (in time we've known each other, not age wise) and every day I'm glad that I have her. You can find her writing journal here.
