(no subject)

Thursday was my brother's 21st birthday. It's just flipped over to Friday here, so today is my son's 8th birthday. Yay birthdays! Boo for being broke!

There is so much I would love to say, but I'm too tired to actually type it up. Also, I have like three dozen things tagged "toberead" b/c I really don't have time to read ANYTHING and there is SO MUCH out there that I want to read, especially with holiday exchange fics being posted and whatnot (hpyuleballs and popslash's bittybang and goodness only knows what else -- also, I'm too lazy to type the correct names of the comms *fails*). If you come across any fics you think I should definitely read, please link me, just in case I've missed it?

NOW. One day when I was asking for prompts, wearethestars said "Lay with me / I could use the company", and after I got over my excitement of her prompting me with Dashboard Confessional lyrics (b/c, yes, I am that crazy/easytoplease/dorktastic), I decided there needed to be fic involving laying together quietly, possibly snuggling, and somehow that morphed into this:
