Jan. 14th, 2009 10:51 pmYesterday I made a post that included a poll that is still sadly in need of answering. Here are the answers to the questions I was asked:
The birthday girl,
ltlredhairdgirl, asked do you like vampire books, like anne rice?
I have never read any Anne Rice books. I don't particularly like the Twilight books. The only vampire books I've read are... well, I love the Dresden Files books and they aren't actually vampire books but they do have vampires in them. I have several of the short story collections that have Dresden stories in them -- My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding, Many Bloody Returns, and My Big Fat Supernatural Honeymoon. I need to get Blood Lite. But one of them has some awesome vampire stories in it, and I keep meaning to actually get some books by the authors and I haven't yet. Do you have a vampire book you'd recommend?
lilian_cho asked when did your kids start using sippy cups?
Um. That was a really long time ago, lol. Davey was more hooked on the bottle than Ronnie was, b/c of when I went back to work after I had him, but there were both probably around seven or eight months or so. About the same time they started solid foods. Ronnie was off the bottle and onto sippy cups before Davey was born (they're 13 months apart) but Davey was nearly 18 months old.
midnight_birth put Puppies!! Um.. It's too late for me. ;) in the question box, lol. I <3 her.
chaeldub asked Did you get misty eye'd reading Deathly Hallows and at what bits?
I totally did. Right at the beginning when they were moving Harry from Privet Drive and Hedwig died, I teared up. Then when Dobby didn't make it to Shell Cottage, it was beyond tearing up, I was crying, b/c it's DOBBY! I teared up again when Snape died. But not when Harry "died". Is that bad?
