RAIN! Seriously, yall, it's still JUST RAIN! I cannot believe that the kids didn't go to school today; it's utterly ridiculous.

Tomorrow is my momma's birthday. I baked her a cake; just have to ice it tomorrow. I'm skipping class tomorrow evening as well. (I did SO BADLY on my quiz tonight in A&P, btw. I got an 83. Mr. Ingraham made sure to tell the entire class before he let us go. Fucker.)

I think that's it for now. (oh! I figured up my taxes, even though I don't have my W2 yet, and now I'm even more anxious to get them filed. REFUND! It'll be especially helpful since they're cutting hours at work -- starting next week we're all going to 32 hours/wk. I'm kicking up my job searching, but even if I do start a new job, I AM GOING TO TEXAS IN APRIL!)

Happy Things for a Wendy-day:

♥ It's my momma's birthday! Yay! We're all going out to dinner on Saturday (around 4ish my time, so be warned that one of you may be getting a text asking you to decide what I want for dinner!) but tonight I made dinner and baked a cake and my brother came over and YAYES! There are apparently also other birthdays being celebrated today, so *throws out happy birthday confetti*!

♥ nasus221 is safely in London. I AM SO EXCITED FOR HER!

♥ Work conversations, including "Speaking of boobies..." (when we were actually doing nothing of the sort!) and Jon coming up behind me and whispering "Guess what? I topped Nedie!"

Someone on my flist linked her story, and I think it's adorable.

♥ My brother's wife is finally earning her keep, lol. She got me an application for HCA and took it back and put in a good word for me. HCA is not my first choice for healthcare, no matter what their catchphrase is, but I wouldn't mind working there.

♥ fangs_up1 apparently likes someone and won't tell casualyobsessed who it is. The two of them amuse me greatly.

♥ My heating pad. Yeah, yeah, it's been on my favorites list before, but here it is again. It's been so cold at work that my back literally aches from shivering. So my heating pad is awesomesauce.

♥ The internet! It's so awesome to have people on the other side of the world that I can call "friend". It's amazing.
