So, as I'm doing cleaning-type activities, one of my tasks is to sort through the books I have here at the house to decide which I want to keep here (Survivor, Havemercy, the Dresden books, a few others), which can go to storage (even though I still need to rearrange my storage unit so I'll be able to get to them), and which can be given away. Everyone knows I like to read, so there are several people in my life that pass books in my direction. And I never turn them down, b/c I do love books and there are sometimes some gems among those messes. However, fandom has ruined me, so today I found myself reading the back cover summaries of the books and casting fandom characters in place of the actual characters to see how that would work. Some of them are so completely ridiculous, but it totally made me smile.

I have a roast in the oven (roast beast!) and it's making the house smell yummy. Too bad it won't be done for hours yet.

I haven't accomplished much of anything today, but I'm blaming it on the fact I ache all over from playing with the kids yesterday. I hope all yall are having a great weekend!
