I haven't gotten a chance to read my flist yet, so there may be another post tonight with linkage or something. I know that the situation in Australia is still a major concern on my flist.

Several forest fires have sprung up around here in the past couple days, and while they are relatively small and contained, they're still a cause for concern for me because my baby brother is out there fighting them. And fussing at me for worrying. Brat.

Also, my cousin Elvie wrecked his pickup earlier tonight when a deer jumped out in front of him. He says he's okay but the truck's not.

My workplace is still full of fucktarded people, but I'm making good connections through my instructors at school so hopefully I won't be at RMG too much longer.

The killer headache I have right now is definitely NOT on my happy list. How about some things that do make me happy? (as posted over at lists_of_happy)

If you've been around since my HP days, you know that copperbadge's Cartographer's Craft is one of my most favoritest things ever. EVER. Part of that story is Ellis Gravesworthy, the OC author and now-deceased former love interest for Sirius in the story. Sam once posted about what Gravesworthy's books were about, and my comment to that post was OMG I so wanna read these books! You are going to write one, right? Animagus Winter? Please? Well, guess what. SAM WROTE IT!

He has an introductory-type post here, but the story, which has been altered a little, is going to be posted at theoriginalsam. The first chapter is HERE.

Okay, my head is really hurting. It's making it hard to concentrate, even though I'm not tired at all!. Tomorrow there will be a post about sinful desires and about the OWL awards. <3
