(no subject)

What exactly is the name of the filling part of the deviled egg? Davey calls it "the goo" but that's obviously not the actual term for it. We're having deviled eggs with dinner & I'm totally thinking about making Davey sleep on the porch after this. There's a reason we call him Stink, and that's on a normal day.

I have a couple pictures I meant to upload & share from yesterday but I'll have to make another post. I'm sure yall don't really care about seeing even more pics of my kids anyway, though, right? (Since Jo wasn't allowed at Mom's yesterday, we had family-holiday-time without drama for once. It was pretty damn awesome.)

phaballa (who is awesome and just a little bit evil and who I WILL SEE ON THURSDAY!!) has created a new community called teerlove!

This community is for teerlove fic/media. What is this strange word, teerlove, you might be asking yourself? Teerlove is the old skool name for Mousketeer fic, back when Mousketeers still existed. But in my fandom wisdom, I have decided to co-opt the label for all the House of Mouse kids, real and fictional (but they're really all fictional, aren't they?). From Justin to Miley, Ryan freaking Gosling to the Jonas Brothers. Lindsay Lohan to Fergie. Emerald Cove to Hannah Montana and everything in between.

I know that some of yall are getting sucked into the Jonas Brothers (though I really don't get it!) or would otherwise be interested in the type of fic that'd fit into this community, so go and join and spread the word.

Also, did anyone else see this twitter update from MikeyWay -- When i retire, I'm gonna buy a submarine to hunt giant-squid -- and immediately think of airgiodslv's Behind the Sea fic?

*sigh* That reminds me of the fact that my bandombigbang isn't quite as far along as I'd like for it to be, mostly b/c I have no discipline and won't sit down and just write it. But I know how I want it all to go! Even if I'm at the point now where I've reread what I've written so many times that I'm starting to think it sucks.
