So, in copperbadge's latest entry, Sam said: What the fuck do they think I'm buying at a MEDICAL CENTER if not MEDICAL TREATMENT? Prostitutes? Can I get those at a hospital? and I immediately thought of valerie_z. It is wrong I associate her with prostitutes?

In other news, would anyone be available tomorrow afternoonish to beta something for me? I'm writing it, so it's obviously ridiculous and self-indulgent, and it's the teacher!Brendon au, and it's not completely done yet. But I'm hoping to finish it so I can post it on Monday. Monday is someone's bday, btw, and she really deserves something better than fic, but fic totally counts as a present, right? Actually, Monday is a bday for TWO of my favorite flisters. Hmmmm.

So, I unlocked the Shiny Happy Bob Times fic and linked it over at the usedfic comm. Maybe that'll balance out this post?

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that I'm firmly entrenched in the "Mike Carden is super fucking creepy, OMG" camp (he eats babies and if you look into his eyes he'll steal your soul! Sorry, danacias, but really. CREEPY!). And I'm not a fan of the Jonas Brothers (although I admit to watching their show on Disney. Sunday nights are Disney channel nights in my house!).

BUT I'M TOTALLY ALL ABOUT READING SOME MIKE/KEVIN FANFIC!

It's totally skoosiepants' fault. She started it with the Dancing 'Verse (starts with Dancing Without Warning), and she's written quite a few others that I enjoy, including NINJA (which I highly fucking recommend; there are so many great players in this one - Kevin's friends with Brendon and Patrick and Billiam and it's adorable in its awesomness!) and This Scene Isn't What It's Been (epic tour-dating! rest stop jailbreak! Little Adam!).
