Holdon's birthday is this week and there is supposed to be a shared birthday party for him tomorrow afternoon, but I just got a phone call that there is going to be a separate small party / cookout for him this afternoon for the other side of the family this afternoon but that he and James would really like it if me and the boys could be there. But my Saturday plans are mostly "clean house" and "grocery shop" and "readfic one of my new books", especially since there's a storm front moving in this afternoon.
Speaking of reading:
1. I didn't get my copy of Dragonsoul because NO ONE IN THE FREAKING VALLEY has it, so it had to be ordered for me. :(
2. THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SPEND MY DAY READING, SO IT'S GOING TO BE MY REWARD FOR GETTING THE HOUSE CLEAN!!!!

We were making plans to spend 4th of July weekend at the lake - pig roast & live band & fireworks & all sorts of other nonsense. I'm actually really looking forward to it. I just gotta remember to buy the boys new life vests for the boat b/c they've definitely outgrown the kid sized ones they had last year.
also, we're going on a huge family camping trip the weekend after that, so that's two weekends in a row that I'll be away from civilization with no cell or internet access. Good times? *g*
Oh, and Matt said he'd move to Texas with me and the boys, lol. Seriously, so tempted. <3
