(no subject)

Today was a good day.

I feel bad because I haven't actually posted an entry since the most awesomest friend in the universe (asimplechord, in case you're new here) got me paid LJ time again! Seriously, I scared the rats with the squeal of glee I made when I got that email, lol. Yes, something that simple made me that happy. :)

No headache today. My kids abandoned me last night to stay with their other momma, and when they came home we set the timer for an hour and they helped me clean house - they actually did most of the work, even though I had to go behind them for some of it, but it was a good effort on their part, including sweeping and mopping the kitchen and bathroom AND cleaning out the car. And cleaning the rat cage.

I mowed the lawn today! Not the entire thing, just the front and the sides, but that's actually a lot. I haven't given yall a video tour of the house, have I? I need to do that someday soonish! Remind me! And I would have mowed the back, but mom was grilling so I couldn't. Steak and baked potatoes for dinner, which was awesome. Still feeling pretty good overall, but I don't want to jinx it. Hoping I can get the Halloween decorations finished tomorrow; we did all the inside ones the other day.

In other news, I'm sad that there was no new Haven last night, but exsequar watched the finale last night so I'm glad to have her to yell with about this show. I'm working on an epic post of awesome for Haven, but it's only about halfway done. SyFy is being a tease and hasn't announced that Haven has been picked up for Season 3, but they will if they know what's good for them. And this gives all yall lovely people time to get caught up on the first two seasons before Season 3 gets here. Everyone wins, right?
