Life has been insanely hectic so I keep meaning to make a post and then never getting around to it.

Obligatory whining: On non-headache days, I always think that it's been a long time since I had a headache, but really I still have them at least two or three days a week. And I don't know what's worse, the good days or the bad days, because as miserable as I am on the bad days, the good days give me false hope of being normal.

Juggling my dad's doctor's appointments has been fun. Not. He's got emphysema and COPD, and his liver is shot, all of which I could have told the drs without them running any tests. He had to go for some respiratory function tests and he keeps telling everyone that they put him in a glass coffin. He's ridiculous. His roommates finally left, after the police got involved and after George (who technically owns the house) went in dumped all their shit on the curb. So there's that, at least.

Last Friday, my dad and I were supposed to tile the basement but JR called and asked if we'd come work up a couple deer instead. I wanted to give him shit over it, because really, he had the energy to go out and hunt but not enough energy to skin them? But he's finishing another round of radiation so I guess I should be nice. Although I hate getting deer blood on my shoes. I totally stole the tenderloin from one of the deer though, so I guess that works out too.

I got my disability backpay, so I'm caught up on everything, finally. I told Miss Amanda that it was really sad how excited I was to be paying bills. But it's been so long since I had the money to pay them! And it's a big relief to not have that hanging over my head.

Friday night at the Christmas parade, Kristina said she had some pictures for me. I thought they were the kids' school pictures, but they're sonogram pictures! She's pregnant, and she's known for several weeks but was waiting to tell anyone because of the miscarriages the last few times. She's nine weeks right now, due the beginning on July. I'm so excited! Joseph was like "And guess what! It's gonna be a boy or a girl!" Lol. Kristina said when he first saw the pics, he was like "It's a FOX!" Kids. :) I started tearing up, which made Kristina start crying, and it was pretty emotional, but it IS a HUGE deal, so.

Saturday we had a shared birthday party for Haley and Ronnie at Thunder Valley. Haley turned 11 last Wednesday and Ronnie turned 11 this past Monday. I made Ronnie another tank cake, which turned out really well. The kids had a blast, and Harley and I beat RT and Tim at air hockey, and it was a good time. Then on Sunday, we surprised Tim by showing up at his house for dinner for his birthday. I'm amazed that Jamie was able to pull that off, but she did, and it was awesome. So it was a good weekend with the family.

Oh, and also on Sunday, I was productive and cleaned out the gutters around the house and hung up Christmas lights! Yay me!

Now I have to get ready to take Ronnie to his counseling appointment. He really likes his counselor, which is good, but he and I are still having major issues. I know I need to give it time, but zomg he's driving me insane. I also need to go shopping for a baby shower gift for my cousin. I hope that those of you that are going to the Secret Show tonight have fun, and that everyone else is having a fabulous December. My bright spots right now, other than the Kristina thing, are that Harley comes home next week for a MONTH and that next weekend I get to spend in Norfolk with Amy and Cliff and the baby.
