May. 8th, 2012 10:37 pmOkay, I need to vent, but I'm gonna TRY to balance it out with happy. We'll see if it works.
- The credit union that my car loan is through is giving me problems. When my insurance policy renewed back in the fall, there was some computer glitch that made it look like I didn't have full coverage on my Mitsubishi when the credit union checked. So they started charging me and extra $150 a month for their own insurance and it took me MONTHS to get it straightened out. So in March I got a letter that it was taken care of and that a $700 credit was applied to my account. $700 would cover more than 2 months of my car payment, so I assumed it would be applied to my payments. But it wasn't, it was applied to the principal, which meant my payment was late and now I just got my monthly check and am already $542 in the hole.
+ The girl I work with at the credit union managed to get my May payment deferred.
- Money issues mean I'm not going to get to go see The Used when they come to Charlotte. I'll be lucky to get to go to Festival in the Park. Ugh, money.
+ My friend Adam & his band Rutledge are opening for one of the nights at Festival in the Park so he got me tickets for that night, at least.
- Ronnie has been increasingly difficult the past month or so. We're back to him being completely disrespectful about everything and getting in my face when he doesn't get his way. Today he decided that since he can only get two more marks in the next two and a half weeks in order to get to go on the end-of-year field trip, that he's giving up and not trying. And he also told me that he wants to go live with his daddy, so I told him to go ahead. But after he called his daddy and his nana and his auntie, no one would come get him so he told me he's just not going to go to school anymore. Seriously, I'm ready to kill him. Idek.
+ The puppies (who are 9 months old now, idk if they're still really "puppies") are doing awesome when I take them places.
- I offered throw Kristina's baby shower, because I love baby showers, but she's turned it into something else altogether. So instead of a real baby shower, we're having a family cookout, but she still wants baby shower games and stuff. It's so much more expensive and so much more work than a real baby shower.
+ Kristina and RT went last week for their 4D ultrasound, and the pictures and video are awesomely exciting, even if they are a little creepy. 9 weeks left (approximately) before we get to hold Larkin!
I think there was more, but maybe not. I love you guys bunches and hope everyone is doing better than I am! <3
