May. 4th, 2012 12:06 amGotta get up and take my Dukey Wookie Pookie Bear (which is Duke's official name, lol) to the vet in the morning. He was kinda limping yesterday and today he won't put any weight on his front leg. I don't see anything and it doesn't bother him when we touch his paw, so it might be something in his leg or shoulder or something, idek. But he's all crying and mopey and sad and stuff and I don't like it. :(
The boys' father is out of the hospital and came to Ronnie's baseball game yesterday (I had emailed the boys' auntie the schedule at the beginning of the season, just like I do every year - this is the first game they've EVER shown up at). Davey hadn't gone to the game because it was hot outside and he was more interested in staying home and watching TV in the A/C, and Mike hadn't gone to the game because he's got this stomach flu thingy that's going around. So we get home and Ronnie told Davey he should have gone to the game because "Daddy was there!" Davey goes, "I thought Daddy was home sick?" And Ronnie says, "No, our REAL Dad." Davey goes "oh" and shrugs and walks away. I don't even know how to respond to that.
Mike's babymomma was supposed to bring Fiona today. Mike and I offered to go get her this afternoon, but Crazy said she was coming down here anyway. She was supposed to bring Fi by dinner time. Didn't answer her phone after that until Davey's ballgame was over (around 8ish) and said she was just then leaving Franklin County. She JUST NOW called (it's midnight) and said she'll bring Fi in the morning instead. Ugh.
Also, something that's been driving me crazy about Fiona is that she's scared of cameras. Like, ridiculously so. I mean, I hate cameras and hate having my picture taken, but she is legit afraid of them. If she sees one, she hides, and she has burst into tears when we ask her to smile for the camera, and practically every picture she ends up in, she looks terrified. I have no idea what to think about that, and yall know how much I LOVE taking pics of the kids, so I'm not sure what to do. sigh. Any of you have a thought?
